Who called you was an ass, and was just using a sales tactic to turn you negative around, I have a good idea of who it was and I'll speak to her boss.
Lastly, I know some of you will call BS here but in my experience (and I'm sure in every other case) SBR doesn't take money for ratings.
Phone number of the call is 218-382-xxxx. I dont want to put the last four digits...call was from Minnesota. I dont loathe the calls...I prefer emails. It was close to meal time for our family but truth be told sometimes I would listen to the call sometimes I wouldnt...dictated by my mood. I was not in the mood for a cold call then so I said I know first fidelitys rating..its below A..I dont do business with them...have a good night. Now I do business with Intertops and others..I just wanted out of the call at that moment.

What got me to post were the TWO other immeidate call backs. One informing me that her firm/site does not have an A rating because of they dont pay sbr. The other call by her was getting on my case asking if I have never used any books lower than A..I hung up. Upon those two immediate followups I decided to post this.

I like trying other books. I tried dimeline when their rating got bumped up(not great experience but oh well). I love Intertops (b+).....first fidelity looks interesting but after calls like this I would say that it would be a few months before I consider them again.

Nice of you to look into this personally, CS. But I would hope this could also be accomplished with a simple call or email directly to your Book. I'd give you guys a try sometime if I could be assured of no sales calls (hate having my cell minutes wasted with this type of annoyance). Other than that, your Book appears to be a decent out overall.

You think if BOL is having problems paying their customers (which I don't know if it's true or not), you think they're handing over the loot so quick to SBR. Call me jaded, but it takes a bit more than a few forum posts to think something is really an issue. This is the internet, people make shit up all the time, maybe not this time but it happens. Guys love joining a good 'ole gang bang with comments of "me too" when they don't even have an account there. Again, I'm not saying anyone is BS'ing, but I've been around long enough not to believe everything/everyone I read on a gambling forum.
they slow pay everyone. its basically standard pratice there. you obviously have no idea how rampant their slowpaying tactics are.

theres also could be a ppl that get f'd and don't even know about SBR.

You're right in that I have no idea about the slow pays, I try to keep up with the forum as much as I can but a lot of it I miss.
I will tell you though I have two friends that get/have gotten paid decent money from BOL on a regular basis. One plays 99% poker, and the other sports. They haven't had an issue yet, though maybe it is because they are outside the US and use MB.

HH, the world would be a beautiful place if it were only that easy You're right, but sometimes the sales people really need to be told to back off... it's how they earn their living. In situations like that I would just ask to speak with the manager and explain to them and it "should" get taken care of. Clerks really have little to no authority and can do no more than send an email.
I know it's a PITA, I have had accounts at a decent amount of books over the years, and I get the calls non-stop as well on my cell.
