#37avoid Sportsbook.com...........
They strung me along for a while before announcing last week more 3 to 5-week delays in paying. They need a new motto:
Sportsbook: Everybody bets, few get paidComment -

#38I know about 3 people who regularly play at sportsbook.com and I will admit there payouts are slow. However I never wait no more than 4 weeks for my check to arrive and I only know of one case where a friend had to wait about 3 months for payout. Just have patience, they will pay.Comment -

#39what to do?
I went through the same crap last summer with sportsbook.com. I stuck with them because they did pay. (took 2 months) Maybe someone will understand, staying with them was easier then finding a new book. They always take my credit card, they have all my withdraw info. It's such a pain in the ass to get a new book sending them all the withdraw info. I opened an account with Bodog last year, what a joke, their payout is as slow a sportsbook, and I like sportsbook.com screen layout much better. HOW THE HELL IS THIS AN A- BOOK???????????????????? SBR forum loses creditability with this info and I would like to think I could trust them. That's the reason I've stayed with them (sportsbook.com)
If anyone has any better unbiased ideas, I'm all ears. I'm in US by the way.Comment -

#45If your account at linesmaker is worthless, then it is worthless. There is no such thing as scalping out. Imagine they replaced your money with monopoly money, could you scalp that out? All you are really doing is making bets at the other books.Comment -

#46As we speak, the good folks at sportsbook.com are packing up. It won't be long until the website is gone. I can just hear their laughter as they go skipping out the door. The good thing is though, the amount they snag from us really won't be able to help them get too far. Certainly not enough to start a new life in some far away place!Comment -

They are incredibly cheap and shady. It doesnt bother them in the least when they cheat players. And all these slow pays...do they care? Nah. They dont. They will pay when they get around to it.Comment -

#50If you research this site you will see we have warned players for about 8 years to avoid sportsbook.com at all costs. But.... they are not going out of business. And if they are, it wouldnt be 6 weeks before the NFL starts up.

In all seriousness, I have been using sportsbook.com since April of 2002. And now, over six years later, this is the first time I have encountered problems with them. That's why I was wondering if this meant they had one foot out the door. I can promise one thing. When I do finally get paid, that will be the last dealing I will ever have with their shady @sses. I guess I had just been a lucky duck for the past six years.Comment -

#51I don't think it's worthless, I just think they have major processing issues this time of year. Unfortunately, history repeated itself this summer. I do know players that have been paid balances bigger than mine routinely, so I do have faith that they'll pay, it's just an annoyance of a wait.

#52Money processing woes are real. Of course thats the new excuse from every slow pay book these days.
Some books like CRIS, Greek, 5Dimes work very very hard to keep processing going. They know they can lose one so they have several others lined up and always looking for a new bank. These books have all lost processing too but they are ready. Sportsbook.com is shady and lazy. It wouldnt shock me at all to learn that they havent even started looking for another processor. If they are saying 5 weeks it seems they havent even started looking. Its sad but their URL name is so strong they never worry about taking care of clients.Comment -

I am told they are also offering bank wires and will send you the full amount through this method. BetUSA says they have asked for your banking details. Please keep us posted.Comment -

#56I know we live in the computer age with our info available to everyone but knowing I have given my banking info to Sportsbook.com might be akin to unprotected sex in Haiti--both seem very risky. If I see my $ by football season it will be a minor miracle. I think suckbook.com will soon be sending us more "three to five week delay" message soon.Comment -
