1/2 seems to be the standard offer, not sure about the upper cap on that though. Seems to me they'd have been better offering 100% to $500 or something; small players who got all of their balance are more likely to play than those who got 1/2. Most bigger punters likely already had an account there.Comment -

I doubt too many would have had an account with TW as his specialty is racing and I suspect most Sports Alive customers were more into sports.

Bet247 is certainly a separate legal entity and the company, on last checking the ASIC site, is not in liquidation or receivership.
What I can't understand is if you have an account with Bet247 why it is not they that are liable to pay you. I believe you should have an enforceable claim against them, notwithstanding the Sports Alive fiasco.Comment -

I had about GBP2000 with Bet247, and Waterhouse transferred it over just fine. I left it there for a couple of weeks while I sussed out their lines. But I don't like horses, and their other lines were quite poor, so I withdrew. Paid in full after a couple of days. No complaints here.Comment -

I had +$3k with bet347, transferred fine - 2 futures bets which both won - first has been paid and the second due to be paid shortly (according to TW). Withdrew $7k last week and funds arrived in my account this morning - there was no WR.Comment -

I've heard of some former SA customers who got an email by Tom Shithouse, telling them that he will honor part of their balances. But I'm not one of them...
I wonder what criteria are being used to filter out the customers whose balanced are transferred.
