Thanks for the info! I just sent a few BTC over. I'll report back and let you guys know how it goes.

I do find it a little strange that the customer service number appears to be a common south florida cell phone number.

I sent a few BTC over on Saturday. Site appears to be down now. We'll see if I ever get them back.

Dammit.. site is still down. Why couldn't it have gone down a day before I deposited instead of a day after?

I have no proof to back this up, but my gut tells me that offshoregenius has something to do with this.

Barely anything at all. I sent over 10 BTC (around $35) just to see how the process worked. Damn site went down within 24 hours. I highly doubt my $35 put him over the top.

            My evidence against Offshoregenius:

In another SBR thread titled "New Betting Exchange", I mentioned that the tutorial videos clearly showed that the guy had that exact thread opened in one of his browser tabs during his product demonstration. No one on the thread claimed to be the owner, and Offshoregenius started the thread and was also the only one that seemed interested in depositing. Also, if you read a few posts up on this thread, Offshoregenius claims that he received three payouts from the site. The site rules state that payouts only occur on the 1st and 15th of every month. The dates don't make sense. How did you get 3 payouts when 3 pay dates haven't elapsed since the time you supposedly registered?

I just went back and re-read the "New Betting Exchange" thread. I'm an ass. It was clearly a scam and due to my lack of diligence I sent 10 BTC out into the wind.

The fact is I have been paid three times, and they are one of ten outs for me. You sent $35 in bitcoin money? You were going to make $1 offers?? Clearly you arent the target market they would be looking for. If it turns out to be a scam, Ill take my lumps like a big boy, and they will be bigger than $35. Ive been on this forum quite a long time, and Ive only been beat by Parlaymakers so far. I am hoping they are a viable replacement for MB and Tradesports... That has yet to be proven , to say the least. All I know is I have been paid.... And a lot more than 35 bones! i would expect you would be paid this Thursday as well.

I understand what your saying and they are up now. Im not really sure whats going on with this place but why would offshore make this up he has been on this forum for over 3 years and posts in alot of different threads. He probably withdrew once every 15days like they do. Maybe yesterday they were having internet problems. If the account still says 0 then try and call them and see what happens, please keep posted i hope all is good.

Is this against the forum rules or not?

I saw another bookie anonibet.com in bitcoin forum .
It looks another good option to bet only with Bitcoins.

I've been playing at Anonibet since 4 days and i've made 2 withdrawals without problem. For now the deposits and withdrawals are manual but they are in beta phase. I've played several times at the first bitcoin sports betting site (btcsportsbet), but btcsportsbet lacks combo betting option and doesn't offer so many matches. So i would recommend anonibet to everyone that would like to bet on sports with bitcoins.

Be careful with anonibet. After doing some digging, it looks like the parent company is a slow-pay/no-pay D rated book. At least btcsportsbet is safe, been around an eternity in bitcoin terms, lol.

Thanks for your warning fizzwont. After reading your post i've made myself a research and seen that some pages of anonibet indexed by google are in Turkish :O Also a few days ago when making bets i've checked the box "Email me these bets". When i checked my email i was shocked. The email was in Turkish. They say that they are based in Panama :/ I've withdrawn all of my bitcoins and now i'm making my bets with btcsportsbet.

Still the best currency for sportsbetting. Sure there is currency risk, but hell we're gamblers anyway. I made 2 deposits and 3 withdrawals yesterday from btcsportsbet. All fast, processed automatically, and with no fees. With what other book is that even possible?

                                          6.30 now

Hey, I saw in the other thread that the new 'exchange' was a scam as expected. I've been lurking around btcsportsmatch.com - it seems really interesting. Run by the same guys who run btcsportsbet - seemingly the only legit bitcoin book out there - and offers true vig free lines with a 1% fee on winning amount only. You don't place orders like matchbook, you can just match at current prices or leave an order out there (subject to fluctuation). Of course you may not get action, but cool concept.

Any of you bitcoin guys should check it out, much cheaper in the long run.

I use bitcoins to buy pot on silk road..but for sports betting you are gambling on the fluctuations of bitcoin value vs. dollar. I'd rather keep my risk on sports than sports and bitcoin currency values. Good luck to you guys who try this route, I hope to see bitcoin grow..makes it easier for me to buy drugs lol.
Bitcoin also really helps stop governments from limiting the freedom of people to use their money how they see fit. I'm a supporter, just don't want to tie up my gambling bankroll into Bitcoins.
There is also bitcoin poker for those interested. And you get get bitcoins with paypal..but still I just don't see it as a viable option for gambling yet. I hope someday that changes and the value of bitcoins stabilizes but for now I just don't think it's ready for prime time.

And yes, there is currency fluctuation risk to hold a lot of them, but don't dismiss betting on sports. For the american player where sending/receiving funds is a nightmare and expensive.. You can fund a btc book like btcsportsbet.com or btsportsmatch.com before the game, and withdraw right after the game, with no fees and fast transfers. Do it everyday, no need to keep a lot of money at the book so you reduce your risk that way too.

Small accounts are granted a max 10:1 leverage, meaning you deposit 5 bitcoins you have effectively 50 at your disposal. Of course the more leverage you use the higher risk of a margin call and account liquidation.
