    Question About the Greek
I just noticed now after making a deposit that it says new accounts must wait at least 7 business days before making a withdrawal. Is this correct? Even for a ** deposit? If I would have known this, I would not have made a deposit.

You're complaining because you have to keep your money at one of the safest books in the world for a whole 7 business days? Seriously?

Do you honestly think this is unreasonable on their part?

Lastly, why wouldn't it be correct of you found it on their website and why are you asking a forum instead of the book directly?

    Good grief!

I'm sure that they have this 7 day rule somewhere and they should have notified you somehow before you deposited. Or at least you needed to read their terms carefully.

Yes, I'm an idiot for not reading, however, when I made my deposit and I asked the rep if they still offer same day withdrawals she said "Yes" and never mentioned the wait time.

my only comment on this is that I've been with theGreek for years and never had any problems ever. So if you're looking for a book that has a huge selection of lines, easy depositing and quick payouts, this is it.

Are you kidding? Why would you make a deposit for less than a week? Do you know how much stress and cost is involved with processing payments these days?

Yes.. they DO have same-day withdrawals.... that has nothing to do with a hold on initial deposits.

It's amazing offshore still cover fees with customers like this joker. Unbelievable.

Doesn't seem like there would be much point to betting if you are going to lose about 10% of your winnings every day in processing fees. Besides which, if you do use any less expensive withdrawal method, such as checks, you will encounter a waiting period before the check clears anyway.

These types of rules are in place to protect the sportsbook from being scammed.

Penguin - Just wait it out and be patient. Your money is safe there... and that's what you have to worry about these days. Funds safe and getting paid quick. The 7 Day Rule is to protect the sportsbook from people like Cory1111.

You are lucky it is only a reasonable 7 days...... some places have 30 day holds. Seriously, if you can't part with the cash for a week, you shouldn't be betting it.
