    Bonus or Reduced Juice?
I was just wondering what everyone thought about this. Is it better to take a bonus or reduced juice? Or does it depend on how many plays you do a day? It seems to me that for example Betonline offers one or another which is kind of the trend anyone have any opinions on this?

Bettrojan, Topcat, and BetOnline are just a few of the books I know of that offer this option your asking about (bonus/low vig signup option).

I always pick the low vig option because over the long term it becomes much more valuable.

Here is a very nice detailed list of what books will be offering low juice for the 2008 MLB baseball season.

If you're in for the long haul, it's not even close, take the reduced juice option. The bonus is often difficult to qualify and pissed away once earned, as some players don't treat it the same as money they deposit.

Munson is right. If you are going to be there a long time and are saving 5 points of juice, that's like $50 for every dime you bet.

You'll make a lot more back on low juice than the bonus will pay you, and no hassle with bonus rollover and not counting certain plays (like some places don't count -200 or more Moneyline favs toward your requirements).

This is a no-brainer for someone that bets often. Always take the reduced juice.

I'll point out that moving from a -110 line set to a -105 line set will "only" save you about $21.65 in vig for every dime risked.

The bonus is free money! take it then open a reduced juice account in another name.
