Yeah I got the same message just now - sounds like we may get some funds back - how much - doesn't sound like alot.
I clicked on link and registered my claim and after doing so they tell you that they won't get back to any of us until May??
Kinda sounds like nothing but trying to see maybe some positive in thisComment -

#5I had accounts at 6 different BOS websites and got 6 e-mails so I thought they wanted me to verify the balance of each sportsbook account individually but all 6 e-mails were identical and only referenced my MVP sportsbook account that had the smallest balance. I guess they have chosen to ignore my 5 other sportsbook account balances that were much larger.
Did anyone with accounts at multiple BOS websites receive separate verification e-mails for each account?Comment -

#8I got the email today. I wondered if it was a scam email. I've only got one BOS account from BOS itself. My balance is very small, luckily, but it would be neat to actually get it after all of this time.
I got a scam email from ebay yesterday and it was confirmed by ebay to not originate from them and to not reply or click the links in the email.Comment -

#10I already wrote off my BOS accounts last year (and took a deduction on my taxes for "bad debt"). If I get anything, it will be a pleasant surprise.Comment -

#11I had a little over a nickel at MVP when they went under.
Haven't heard from them, but I think I have both a new email and regular address than the one I have.
I actually did write it off (figuratively speaking) a while back.Comment -

#13Think this stinks. They intentionally pick the smallest accounts to pay instead of pro rata. This is done so that they can say thousands of their clients were paid back; yet they leave out the fact that the average balance was under $100. What a load of crap; a final screwjob by BOS.Comment -

My email didnt say the small accounts would be paid. Where did you read this?
"They" are no longer in control the 'Administrators" are. There only interest willbe to delay as long as possible and enocunter as many problems as possible to ensure their fees are as big as possible.Comment -

#16My best guess would be zero. I sure hope Im wrong.
Employees were not paid and I think by the time they pay them and take out the legal fees it will be all over.Comment -

#17All I know is that before yesterday I was certain I had 0% chance of getting anything.
Now I think there's about a 5% chance that I get something. To me that's Christmas present enough.Comment -

#19They are in receivorship. The receiver will add up all the assets, divide it by the liabilities, and pay that percent out to all listed creditors. Big and small account holders will get equal treatment.Comment
