    Sports.Com/Linesmaker/Sportsbetting
First of all could anyone advise on the status of Sports.Com. Is it owned by Jazette or only hosted by them?

Next if you were going to choose one of the three above to play at which would it be?

And finally is there another option that is part of the Jazette umbrella that is a better option than those above?

    Thanks

Sportsbetting & Linesmaker ownership is still hosted by Sportsbook.com, however they do make their own decisions independently nowadays.

To my knowledge Sports.com is still under the Jazette umbrella.

Oddest thing... I have requested payouts from Linesmaker and PlayerOnly which seems to be going smooth but I am expecting 3 and I got two tracking numbers for me but the third is someone else's with a differant amount and name... This is from Sporttingbet (the one that is not mine) and I don't play at Sporttingbet... I don't even have an account there...

Sports.com is said to be the biggest licensee not owned by the company. It apparently is owned by a hands-off investor and might as well be a Sportsbook.com skin.

Linesmaker and Sportsbetting's people are somewhat involved in what goes on daily.

Linesmaker.com owner also owned Linesmaker.co.uk which was under Futurebet. Futurebet stiffed him (as they did with most of their brands) and he moved all the balances to LM.com and paid through that without any strings. He has a lot more to lose with the LM brand hosted by Jazette.

BetUSA is hands on, has a full-time staff and even does its own lines at times. They were B rated until the dependence on Jazette processing was highlighted when Jaz wouldn't pay their non-US guys for five months.
Back when Sportsbook.com mgt. was considered a slow-pay book that made wagering mistakes, BetUSA was the place to go for those who liked the system and wanted a fair shake.

These three books have pull with their hosts and make Jaz a lot of money. I would think of them as being similar to what Sportsbook.com was before the latest rash of outright cheating.

So am I right in thinking you arent sure about this ?

I got my account with them after it was transferred from SportingbetUSA. I sort of thought they were Jazette because of this.

Why is it so difficult to find out info about these guys ?

We are told by by Jazette mktg and mgt. that they do not own this website and it is a licensee. It is an educated guess to say they do the most volume of the books that Jaz does not claim to own. Jaz books are Superbook.com, PlayersOnly.com and Sportsbook.com.

The part that matters to us is that Jaz operates as the decision maker. If Sports.com begins to care that players on SBRforum and reports on SBR negatively impact marketing, maybe that will change.

Sportsbook.com and other turnkey ops provide fronts for anonymous investors.

Yes, but don't plan on winning. If so, they reserve the right to steal your funds. (It's in their T & C's ).

Which of these books would you recommend for the US players? Which has had less problems with payouts and other issues?
