    Bookmaker coldcalling?
I received a call from then yesterday. The person who called me spoke such poor english, it took me 2 minutes just to figure out who was calling me. If I didn't take SBR-related calls, I wouldn't have weathered it.

    Anyone else getting cold calls?

I get these calls also. You would think they would at least get people who speak English to make the calls.

          Question:

If there was an agent on the other side of the phone that would speak fluent english and offers you guys a better option of what you currently have ... would ya take it? or still hammer them away in saying such things as JJ does??

I would take the call more seriously. When they have someone call who doesn't speak well I picture myself trying to explain to them that I want to make a withdrawal and getting no where.

If they can't speak English, what are you going to do when you have a problem and need help?

That is the reason on why my question has "that would speak fluent english" .... they should be able to have a decent conversation with you ... no?

Why get mad at them, play games with them and get rewarded.

Whenever I get cold calls I just lead them on that I'm going to deposit big and never do.I have dialup and caller ID so my phone is usually busy or I don't answer their calls so they usually quit calling. On occassion,I will get an e-mail from them when they can't get a hold of me saying that they will give me a free bet.

Then if you lead them on that you are a big spender,a funny thing happens where you get on a list where your mail box now and then contains free bets.

I never can understand why people over react and go balistic to these people who call you soliciting gambling deposits. You have to play a game with them.

I haven't played there in months but I received this email. I don't have a balance in my account and I didn't request a withdrawal. It's a joke that a so-called A+ rated book is trying to scam its own customers to call them. They even used an account number in the title that is not mine (the account # in the body was correct). Royal and Cris are the only books to ever cold call me and I will never play at those books again.

                          Account Number BKR123456

                          Dear Mr. ***,

In order to resolve this problem please contact us at your earliest convenience. I can be reached toll free on the number: 1-866-9-BOOKMAKER.

Bookmaker cold called me monday and gave me a free entry into their BJ tourney which I accepted. Unfortunately due to the ice storm we had I lost power and couldn't play. I was looking forward to it. Lazer cold calls me and Royal has been known to.
