‘Tis the season - sadly some things are never gonna change in offshore betting

As we reach the end of king football and fewer and fewer depositors and more and more seeking cashouts on balances (and are nearing completion of their rollovers) - we are gonna start seeing more and more slow/no pay complaints I suspect.

Once again a reminder to never risk more than you can afford and never trust a book as a bank (or maybe trust them as much as you trust a bank if your like me and most banks).

Already been told by one shop they are having “processor issues” - at least they are able to pay something - which is a good sign. Maybe it’s just delaying hoping I play and bust out on the balance - maybe it’s legit and maybe it’s just plain lack of funds. Who knows - but trace every failed book over 2 decades and I suspect you will see the beginning of red flags for many start in early December. Usually - right around early January you see “amazing” bonuses and last ditch efforts to save the brand - if it works - they continue on / if not…well you know - scrap it and start over in August with the client list and a new website.

Let’s be careful out there and keep realistic expectations - plan on writing off 10% or f you play at any of these c level shops - and never let your balance get too high.

Obviously not bad advice to adhere to but at least mention the book that's giving you processor issues. The only books I'll really feel comfortable with large balances in is BetOnline/Sportsbetting and Bookmaker/Justbet. I've dealt with other books for large sums but those are the best ones as you can take $100k off in a week or less pretty easily. Bovada has paid me some very large balances as well.

The Jazzsports, Betmania/Skybook/Phoenix are the ones I'd be cautious of as they seem to be more aggressive on their promos and are tough to deal with and get paid from. I do think offshores are struggling more this year than ever as most states now have legal books and the average bettor doesn't see the value in offshore anymore. I do think some books may fall off even further but seems as though the big names are close to being business as usual. Time will tell. Inflation/economy issues don't seem to be helping much either but they do say that recessions are good for gambling companies/casinos so who knows.

It’s a combination of factors crushing books right now - legalized gambling is just the final nail in the coffin.

I mean - smart bettors will always keep offshore in business - just like we will always see locals. Just because I can play legally doesn’t mean I want to for many reasons.

Ain’t it funny how a little over a decade ago books were praising the Democratic Party and thinking they had a path towards legalization and acceptance- suddenly the same people who promised help were the ones who took down all the “illicit” operators and brought in the fantasy sports sites and started propping them up as “legitimate” - kind of like how they supported the payday lenders as “legitimate” financial institutions while labeling the tribal lenders as “loan sharks”.

I used to like Jazz . Then one day a guy called offering a promo. After i deposited they pulled a bait and switch. Guy who made the offer apologized and said he made a mistake . He swore he would make it up on another deposit. Like i would ever deposit again after they just screwed me. Then he says they could do the promo if i deposited $4000 more. I have not used Jazz since.

BetOnline is top-notch. I received a Crypto withdrawal the other day. I am not even bs'ing anyone and I got it within 2 minutes. LIGHTNING fast. Now, I realize that would not happen every time, but they are as legit as it gets. Another recommendation to people, is I only withdrawal high 3 figures most of the time. Got another withdrawal week before that went fine. I'm not trying to pull out 10 or 20k at once. If you just pull out smaller amounts here and there I can't ever seeing it being a problem.

But, I'm very happy with BOL win, lose, or draw. They are A+ in my book. And, I love Heritage and Bookmaker too. I got downgraded at some point to an internet only account at Heritage, but they still do everything right over there and they are first class too. Bookmaker is top-notch as well. Really can't go wrong with any of these I mentioned.

    Heritage not the same

BetOnLine and Bookmaker only shops that are not going to stall your payouts or lower your bet amounts without good cause.

I keep hearing how Heritage has changed - honestly not seeing it personally. They beat me every damn time and never get a chance to cash out. Still got -108 lines, cash back, no juice games and decent customer service. Would I trust them as much as any offshore shop today - yes. That doesn’t mean I’d trust them like I did in 2003 - just as much as I would any shop in 2023.

BetOnline I am going to explore again today likely - seem to be decent and again as high of quality as anyone out there.

Bookmaker has made it clear they no longer want my business. Good shop - but apparently long memory on winning accounts.

In fairness to the book I named as having “processor issues” - so I had around a 2k balance - they did pay half in seconds after I agreed to take that for this week with understanding full balance available next. We shall see how it goes in a few days. I ran my balance back up with them by a few thousand more - so they will have the opportunity to make good on a payout. Could it just be an attempt to keep me active - possibly - but sometimes you play the game and it bites you when the client wins more.

Also played with Wager6 this week - unfortunately no payout to report as went bust. Overall - liked them and will likely reup. Good service - nice selection and good limits. Had them and about 80% through my roll before going bust.

Finally - I’m going to try a 3rd book this week with bowl season starting - again offshore I prefer to keep it small and spread action out this late in the year. Never too big of a balance anywhere and shop for best lines.
