    GTBets Withdrawal Verification

    Hi everyone,

I filed to make my first-ever withdrawal on GTBets this week. I received an email requiring the following:
-Picture of my ID with a signed note included
-Picture of my debit card originally used for deposit (I called; they said I can cover all but last 4 digits if wanted)
    -Picture of a utility bill

My question- Is this safe?? With that much documentation, I'm worried about their ability to rob my account.

Thanks for any insight or experiences,
    T

It's not possible to say it's safe sending ID info to a bookmaker when so many big companies continue to be hacked. But this is normal KYC (Know Your Customer) info that almost all books ask for at some point, so if you want to bet you don't really have much choice.

I have not heard of any GTbets customer alleging their KYC info was used in a bad way, for what that is worth.

Other better books to play at that don’t require that

I don't think it has to be a utility bill. You can ask about that.
The requirements are pretty much alike in licensed offshores. Licensed in the countries they reside.
The move was made years ago, it's called Know Your Customer, or KYC laws. Been at least 12 years.
