Sportsbook Review Suggestion: List sister sites

I've noticed in some recent and old threads about players having issues with sportsbooks/casinos holding back, denying, or reducing payouts due to the fact that the player also has an account with a sister site(s). 5 Dimes has a sister site Sportbet, for example.

I would suggest (if it hasn't already been) that the SBR review of each sportbook also list the sister site (if any) for the player's information. The 5 Dimes review doesn't mention the Sportbet site.

What are the main concerns the sportsbooks have about a player having an account at a sister site?

Really? Why would they do that? This makes SBR Sportsbook reviews incomplete and increases risk to the player of having payout issues.

    Thanks, Ace!

5 Dimes, in addition to Sportbet, they also operate ChineseBookie, VietBet, and BetAnySports sportbooks.

The Jazz Sportsbook Group consists of Jazz Sports, JazzBet, LooseLines, ABC Islands, and Bet Islands.

"BetIslands added to SBR sportsbook ratings guide

BetIslands.com has been added to the SBR sportsbook ratings guide at C-. BetIslands is managed by Jon Kreta, who founded WagerChief (SBR rating B-) in December of 2008. WagerChief was acquired by BetPhoenix (SBR rating B-) in July of 2009. In January of 2011, Jon officially left WagerChief to take over the BetIslands brand.

BetIslands is a turnkey on the DPT Sports Group platform, which also powers Jazz Sports (SBR rating C-), ABC Islands (SBR rating C-), and LooseLines (SBR rating C-).

DPT provides BetIslands with hosting, wagering and IT support. BetIslands performs its own processing, and does not accept players outside of the US and Canada."

    From another website:

"Several years ago WagerWeb moved into the building owned by Heritage Sports. This partnership has worked out great for both the sportsbook and its' customers. WagerWeb has a spot on the first floor for their operation, including several top VIP clerks, while the overflow call center is operated by Heritage."

It sounds like neither Heritage or WagerWeb operate the other but merely share overhead expenses. Whether having and playing in both sportsbooks will justify denying a payout, I don't know.

I believe it was due to the difficulties in keeping it accurate at a time many books changed platforms as well as some offshores not wanting their exact legal affiliations documented.

Whaaat??? How do you know what I know or don't know? I see an obvious information gap in the SBR sportsbook reviews that can cause player payout issues and I wonder why is that gap there? Especially if SBR provided it before as indicated by a prior poster. I certainly don't want a payout denied due to me playing at an affiliated sportsbook that I didn't know was affiliated.

Did SBR stopped providing this information because the sportsbooks wanted to have this payout-denial option available to them so therefore keep the player ignorant of it? And SBR went along with it? That is pretty mess up if that is the case!

I thought your post was meant ironically because of the meme.

One reason books don't like that information to be disclosed is that they don't want to suffer double harm by sharps they already limited at one place.

While I'm pretty sure LooseLines, Jazz, and ABC are all connected, I believe BetOdds is just using their platform. I have seen a lot of evidence that it's a much smaller operation. For example, every time I call in for support, I get the same guy and it sounds like I interrupted him cooking dinner or something.
