5Dimes Provides Statement to SBR

Sportsbook Review has received a statement from 5Dimes concerning reports published yesterday in Costa Rica detailing that Tony, the founder of 5Dimes, has been missing since the evening of September 24. Local newspapers are reporting that Tony was ambushed while driving home by assailants on a motorcycle and BMW in what appears to have been a targeted and organized attack.

Authorities in Costa Rica and private investigators flown in from the United States are working around the clock to ensure Tony's safe return to his family. Sportsbook Review joins the entire gambling community in praying for the return of Tony.

The sportsbook continues to operate as normal during this difficult time. SBR is monitoring the situation and has no complaints from players on file. Statement from 5Dimes management attached below.

they've been paying people for weeks... comparing 5dimes to wsex/cascade/betislands/etc is unfair and isn't doing anyone any favors

better comparison would be to cris group or the greek where those guys were arrested/indicted and no customers were harmed

I guess some posters/people just like to see the world burn... why not pray for tony and the continuation of business as usual at 5dimes, which has been a pretty great sportsbook to play at (even with lower limits) and hopefully will continue to be so

Well, then lets focus on what we know for sure. Tony has been missing for 3-4 weeks and there have been zero reports of no pays or slow pays. Thats what we knpw for sure.

And are you trying to imply them being confident in their ability to pay is a bad thing? Do not all businesses do the same thing when there is a major event? What could they have said that would have been enough for you to feel better about your money being there?

I put in a request for a little less than half of my balance this morning. Just received it via bitcoin, took a total of 7 hours. Looks like its business as usual. Actually this payout was much quicker than typical. Nice to see.

I find this so bizarre. I keep seeing people saying they got paid by 5dimes same day as withdrawl request over the last couple of days. i put in a request for 1/4 of my balance 30 hours ago and I got nothing. I am bitcoin exclusive and the whole thing. They clearly do not process these payouts in the order they are received. I wonder what the rhyme or reason to why others get paid same day and I do not. Maybe they just look at me as a loser so figure an extra 24 hours+ with the $ in my account is good for them. really dont know

5D’s has always treated me with respect and never had any issues with payouts. I hope that brings good karma to the situation.
