    Moneygram Withdrawal
I have changed my mind and think I will withdraw around 500 via Moneygram. Does anyone know if this is safe? What information is needed from Monegram? How do you pick up the money from the local grocery store, and who is the money sent from?

Any help/advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

Yes it's safe, I've done it. Contact their live help or call them. You'll give them your account info and # on your ID (I use driver's license). They'll give you a reference number (I can't remember if they give you location/name or not but they'll give you everything you need). Then give the # to the teller at your grocery store or whatever money transfer office you go to, they'll ask for your ID then give you the cash.

I'm not sure what you're asking by "safe"? ** is basically the same as **. ** has less $fees$ to withdraw or deposit. Although if it is free that won't matter, but ** has many more offices than **, so it depends where you live.

Money gram is better than Western Union. The book will give you the senders name, the country, and the reference number and thats all you need. Most moneygram locations also cash the check for you as well unless you wish to take the check to your bank. Hope this helps.

All Wal Marts have money gram and works great for most people depositing and withdrawals.

Some books, Carib for sure, allow a MoneyGram withdrawal only if you have used this method recently for a deposit.

                Just a heads up!
