Yeah they've been having mail server issues, causing them to not receive the emails for crediting accounts. They'll be back soon I bet.

I would love to hear more. I have some money at BetPhoenix. Other than them being down too often I have no complaints so far. I will check back.

Phoenix have not shown signs of slow-pay, but hopefully SBR will act to re-assure/clarify as they/these threads run the risk of creating a 'run on the bank' which isn't good for anyone.

I made a $4k transfer from BetPhoenix to MatchBook last Monday. It got done the same day, but they didn't get my initial email and it took 2 phone calls later in the day. To be fair, they were just coming off a horrid weekend of site problems and the bottom line is they transferred the $4000 (max allowed).

I don't believe they are backed by Diamond, Diamond is part of CRIS

Thanks for the update Hedge. During their nightmare week I do recall reading that payments were still being made, although there was one post from an individual who had been waiting a few days for his Moneybookers withdrawal to be completed. However, as far as I can tell he never updated the situation.

However, to repeat something earlier from this thread, it would be nice of somebody from SBR to update the Phoenix situation, particularly the sponsorship evacuation.

wow, talk about scarescaremongering. countless reasons why bp has either temporarily or permanently stopped advertising. slow pays are an obvious indicator to me something is wrong, this isn't.

I can't speak to any of their ads, but getting screwed over by internet scammers doing DDOS really sucks. At the same time, if the site is never up, then the ads are pointless and actually detract from both the sportsbook and the site advertising them.

With DSI backing, I don't see much risk of no pays. They just need to resolve their web issues.

I think BP is just fine, the problems last weekend sucked, but thats why you should always have another out.

I did a withdraw on friday with Moneygram just to see if everything was fine, and i got paid the same day.

the cs representative merely states they are two seperate companies, which is true. either "jolivette" might not know who's backing them, or she's not sure if they're at liberty to tell us, so she asked you to ask richard. i don't know who backs who, but this livechat obviously doesn't tell us anything.

To advertise, and where, is a business decision. People are assuming that advertising at SBR is a profitable investment. That may not be so for all books.
