What is the best book for Horse Racing?
Hey guys, im new around here but i have read many of your posts in the forums and i look forward to hearing from you all as it look like a great many of you are very experienced in your respective fields of wagering.
I mainly wager on the horses. Although i do sometime slide over to the blackjack table. I have never wagered on the net except for TVG's free site just to help hone my wagering abilities. Im hoping you guys can help lend some experience and help me find a good Sportsbook.
I asked another board and two people said Sportsbook.com or Allhorseracing.com.
Although they are both visually attractive i have heard many a horror stories about Sportsbook.com and it looks like by SBR's rating Allhorseracing.com is not the tops either. But i have been looking at a site that is put up by Churchhill Downs called TwinSpires.com the most attractive thing about is the Free past performances and this thing called EZmoney i believe. Which sounds a lot like Bank to bank transfer but more like ACH which i think is like a digital check. Unfortunately though it doesnt seem like theirs any percent back of your wagers which Allhorseracing.com does have. The other thing thats settling about Twinspires is they are in America. It looks like just about every other sportsbook is outside the US because obviously they also take sports wagers.
Anyways though it seems like horse players here are a small percentage of members but if anyone has any experience with these sites or has any recommendation on a good horse book i would like to hear about it, thank you!

Betonline is pretty good for horse betting with a 7% rebate, and I've always liked Bodog with 3-5% rebate as well, and a wide variety of tracks. Those are my two favorites as far as SBR highly rated books go.

Youbet.com is the best ADW US site in my opinion, if your going offshore to have access to sports and blackjack I like betphoenix- 10% back on losses paid every monday and betjamaica- instant rebate from 3-7%. Beware most offshore have payout limits so stick to youbet, twinspires for potential big hits and offshores for more w/p/s as most pay full track odds on w/p/s

BetJamaica (3%+ rebate right away) and Carib (5% rebate weekly) are two good choices. Good luck, ocaw!

I just took a look at youbet.com and it really looks good. Looks like they have a lot of the same things that Twinspires has although the past performance offer from youbet is confusing. It says they offer past performances from Brisnet and equibase and the DRF which sounds good but it says they offer the DATA from those. It looks like they're avoiding saying they actually offer the Past Performances from those companies. Does anyone know about this?

Also, TopGame85: What does ADW mean? Ive probably heard it before but refresh my memory.

Ocaw ADW = Advanced deposit wagering it is the term used for legal US online horse racing companies youbet/twinspires/xpressbet are examples of adw's betonline betjamaica betphoenix etc are examples of offshores or "semi-legal" sites............. ADW's are traded on the zUS stock market and send you checks from major US banks etc your money actually goes into the pools the offshore your money does not go into pools and are a bit more shady youbet will give you PP's after you bet like $300 a month or so for free if you bet $2 on a track which is a given if you want the PP's for that track why would you not make at least one bet

                Bookmaker,BOL,Betjamaica

They all grade quickly & accurately. And put your rebates directly into your account without having to bother them with phone calls about this.
