Fanduel's customer service sure has gone downhill...
Last week for the NFL draft, I took the Eagles to draft a linebacker with the 30th pick at 22/1, and they grabbed Nolan Smith, Linebacker from Georgia.
That is exactly as it was announced.
I go in to check my account, and it shows that my wager was graded as a loss.
    I got in touch with "customer service" as they call it, and I got a response from a chat bot (most likely) named Dominic that stated;

I apologize but defensive linebacker was the correct pick here rather than defensive linebacker.

The above link takes you to a page that references Nolan Smith as a linebacker.
I can't remember the last time that a Sportsbook actually made my argument for me, but that's what these clowns did.
I sent a follow up asking why they would consider my wager a loss, and they have chosen to ignore me. They then send follow up after follow up asking about my experience with customer service.

I remember when these guys used to pay out everything.
Prop bets on James Harden going over the total and he gets hurt 1 minute into the game, and golf wagers where Rahm is winning by a ton after 3 rounds and then tested positive for Covid, and Denny Hamlin winning a NASCAR race and later being DQ'd.
Gone are those days I guess.
If you are in the market for a sportsbook, steer clear of these thieves. They aren't what they used to be. Not sure how they get the A- rating, but it is soon to fall to F- if they keep up their nonsense.

Definitely sounds like a chat bot. Hopefully, you can get it straightened out sooner or later.

SBR might be able to help you here.

Does the bet description mention offensive or defensive?

Each position on the field was designated with its own odds. QB, RB, TE, WR and OLINE for the offense, and DLINE, SAFETY, CB and LB for defense.
Even if SBR can get me contact information of an actual person affiliated with Fanduel, I might be able to work with that.
Bots aren’t going to help me, and the customer service emails I respond to keep being ignored.

That's the best part about legal sportsbooks: you can file a complaint with your state lottery or gaming board.

The CS reps explanation is so nonsensical it makes me suspicious they are just guessing and made up that excuse on the spot.

I'm wondering if the real grading issue might be them using the 31st pick number instead of him as the 30th player taken (after Dolphins forfeited their pick) for the grading.

If you PM me your account ID and state I should be able to get a manager to contact you.

Was your wager phrased as the 30th pick or the 30th pick specifically for Philly or what? Can you paste the exact wager?

I believe the issue is that Nolan Smith was graded as an edge rusher by Fanduel, so he would have been considered a D-Lineman by them.
I think that is what the gibberish in the customer service emails was supposedly trying to tell me. Either way, he is listed as linebacker everywhere I looked, including the ESPN.com link that they kindly sent me.
