    They had +1600 on Tyrus Jones double double instead of +350

    Here is what Pointsbet said about it;

    “At PointsBet, our NBA double-double market requires three inputs to calculate: a player’s points line, their expected rebounds, and their expected assists.

    On this occasion, an error resulted in this double-double being priced using only Jones’ points and rebounds line.

    Tyus Jones’ assists line (7) did not feed into the double-double calculation, generating an incorrect price of +1600 for a selection that was generally available around +350 across the industry.

    To further illustrate the context of this error, we can share that Tyus Jones’ double-double price with PointsBet was +200 against Orlando on March 28th and +300 against the Mavericks on March 20th.

    The incorrect price remained on site for nine minutes before being removed.

    Additionally, PointsBet removed all double-double and triple-double markets from the NBA offering on Thursday evening in order to update the data query.”

      Shouldn’t they at least pay out at +350 then?

      These weren’t voided until after the game, right?

        That would be the proper response if not voided until after the game in my opinion too.

        But from discussions with books in the past, if they did have terms to re-adjust odds for winners, they should not also have to cancel losers on a bad line.

        This issue really is not as black and white as it feels as a regular bettor.

        But personally, I think if it's their error, then they should err on the side of not penalizing customers in any way.

            If this was hit that hard in 9 minutes, shouldn’t it be easy to notice an obscure market getting hammered and suspend it?

            Are these sportsbooks (not including fanduel) finding it harder to make $$ than they thought it would be? Like maybe they’re spending all this promo/marketing $$ and only bringing in small bettors and sharps.

              If they caught it in 9 mins we'd also have to ask why not voided immediately too.

                Exactly. IF they were going to void it -- and they shouldn't have -- then why not do it immediately upon discovery before the game? Waiting until after the game is a pure freeroll. Had it lost, they would not have voided.

                  This is nothing new in the industry. Can't count the number of times books free rolled players. If you see a line way off DO NOT BET, you can only lose.

                    Define the "way" in the off.
