    issue with bovada
    Recently bovada deactivated my account, and informed me that an adjustment was made to my balance due to a deposit being refunded back to me. I called them to get further details, and they said a deposit I made back in June via plastic had been disputed on November 8th. They told me that my account was now negative, and would have to be brought to good standing in order to have it activated.

    They said that the disputed charge would be credited back to me within 7-10 business days.

    I was very confused because I never disputed a transaction, and it was strange that they said it happened 5 months after the deposit.

    I called my plastic company and they informed me that I did not have any open disputes, nor did I have any that were already credited back.

    I've never had an issue with bovada in the past that was not resolved, and I've never ran into this issue with them, but I'm wondering if anyone else has?

    Yes, we have seen people posting with this same problem before.

    You will probably need to wait and see if it is credited on your next statement, and then go to them offering that as proof.

    They will eventually believe you with statements but it might require a couple of them, so maybe 2 months.

    I don't know what happens here but it seems like it could possibly be someone processing payments might be pocketing the funds and reporting it as disputed back to the book.

      Update on this one-long story short they reactivated my account.

      I had to wait some time and show them a couple months of statements-none of which had a credit issued back to me for the deposit that I supposedly disputed in June.

      They brought my account back to good standing and I am once again allowed to be a degenerate on their site.

          Glad to hear it worked out.

          Annoying you are stuck for two months due to their own internal problems. I am sure they knew what was up from the start.

            Bovada robbed me a month ago. Robbed many others recently too. First time in almost 20 years that I have been straight up robbed by a sportsbook. Do not deposit there until they resolve the many ongoing complaints.

              What did they do to you Ace?


              Only rash of problems I have seen is mostly from multi-accounters and syndicates trying to use them and not accepting it when caught.

                They have had my account "under investigation" for over a month. Couple of other guys in the same situation across the street. They don't respond when I ask what's going on.
                Word around is that this is happening to a lot of players. They are using some max bet T&C to take players winnings. They accept the bets and then say you were breaking their rules by placing the bets.
                One guy been under investigation for over 3 months.
                I'd stay away until this is all cleared up.
                Luckily for me it's only a couple thousand. Others have much much more in there...

                  That does sound worrying.

                  Fine to check accounts. Taking months about it is unacceptable. Although I am sure they would say it's tough to nail down syndicate members for certain and that is what takes the time.
