Bodog account closed (Entire balance voided including deposits), ~$40k CAD total
I recently submitted this SBR complaint and felt like should be posted publicly in the forum also.

My account was closed without any notice, details, or evidence given and told the decision was final and all funds in the account were voided. I had been playing normally and was already verified with successful deposits and withdrawals. The only explanation I was given was that I was under Break of Terms and Conditions "Information to be Valid" and "Fraudulent Activity". I have had no success in appealing to support, and am basically being ghosted at this point.

A few days before the closure, I had received an unusual message to send a photo of myself in front of my address, which I complied with. I then received another email to send a bill for proof of address again, and before I could respond within that day an email was sent about the account closure.

I don't know what happened here, except that I had been a winning player (roughly 20k in deposits with a 40k balance). I've been learning about top down betting and trying to watch the markets for movement and bet in a +EV fashion. This is pretty devastating to me as it eats up my entire bankroll, and I haven't been in a good mental state since this happened. As a Ukranian-Canadian I've only begun being able to process this now and report what I consider pretty strong handed behaviour by seems to be a large book in the industry.

    Thanks for reading.

To completely void all winnings and deposits is very rare. That, plus the fact that they asked for a selfie of you in front of your address and referenced "Information to be Valid" leads me to assume that they believe you are using a fake/stolen identity. And therefore they've already paid you out on other limited/banned account(s), which is why they feel justified in keeping your deposit.

Sure, yeah that makes sense and is awful. So in this case, feels like maybe I am just being put in a false positive situation and even subject to some discrimination from my Eastern European name.

I definitely wasn't trying to bet recreationally but never thought a site might react like this to trying to win.

Would you please PM me a copy of the confirmation email you may have got and I will try to help you.

Hi, I definitely completed the form and received a successful screen after submission but it seems like I don't have a confirmation email so maybe it didn't work.

I will PM you, but I mostly copied and pasted the details of my complaint into this post also.
