Did BetUS buy another book, or are they affiliated with another sportsbook?

They have my name, physical address, and email on file and they keep sending me re-up offers claiming I have an existing account that has comps and freeplay from previous use. The thing is, I've never had an account with them. I'm very suspicious that this is a ploy to get new players to deposit with them... and if they're shady about this then they'll probably be shady about other things too (like withdrawals).

So what's the deal? Did they buy another book and assume the accounts? Did they steal account info from other books? Did they get account info from books that have closed? Are they spamming other people with similar offers?

Some of their offers are very nice, but obviously I'm skeptical about all of this.

They used to be NASA sports years ago.

I don’t trust anything they say. They have lied in writing and in the phone to me.

I would NOT fund these clowns.

    Your choice your money however.

I have never cashed out from this one one of the few i have not. I have not deposited a lot here . I remember years ago some of the worst horror stories came from depositing at this place. But it seemed like there have been better reviews the last couple years maybe new management IDK. A bunch have said they have withdrew from them without any problems. If there is a really good bonus i may do a smaller deposit and just see what happens.

I cashed out from BETUS something like 15 years ago, played hell getting my money.

Those fukkers gave a bonus then after a few plays limited my action, making it take forever to reach rollover.

I hear they are different now. They have recently started sending me mail again. How quickly they forget.

They even sent me a COVID face mask.

If they say you have an account, have you tried the reset password link on their site?

They probably bought a list, and are addressing you as an "old" customer to try to make you think you once trusted them enough to have an account.

To them such ploys are just marketing, and if someone tracks what books they've had accounts with over the years he doesn't profile as their kind of customer anyway. Maybe they're not as blatant at cheating customers as in the past, but it's not because they've cleaned up their act. It's because they realized that having a ton of customers bad-mouthing them wasn't a good business model so they've steered away from give-big-bonuses-screw-with-anyone-who-happens to-want-to-cashout model.

Something similar happened to me. I never signed up and they keep sending me emails saying I have an unused freeplay. However the name they list on the account isn't even my name. I just ignore it.

That's what I'm afraid of. That, or they may be trying to gin up a bunch of deposits before running off with the cash (similar to what betislands did at the end).

Yes. The emails they send me contain "my" account number. So I tried to reset the password to that account number once before, and after reading your post I tried again just now. Both times I received no response.

I talked to their live chat yesterday and they wanted me to call them and "confirm" some personal info... I declined their invitation.

I've withdrawn about 20k from them over the last couple years. My experience with them has been mostly good. I don't think they're hurting for money. I just think they have an aggressive marketing dept.
                        Just my two cents.
PS, I also got that mask

What makes people think they're hurting for money? They certainly wouldn't be the first business to purchase and cold call leads.

We haven't seen any reports of payout issues from this place in a long, long time. They limit very quickly, but they've paid me out many thousands in profit over a large number of separate withdrawals. And every payout is lightning quick. They're passing the test on the most important area for a sportsbook.

A friend of mine had this happen with betus several years ago. They contacted him with his account information and told him he had ~ $50 in his account. I remember him telling me he was 100% sure he never had an account with them, but he logged in with the credentials they gave him and there was cash in the account. I think he ended up using them for a while before they cut his limits for winning too much. Pretty sure he never had a problem getting paid, but it was definitely one of the shadiest marketing tactics I've ever heard of. So they've been using this tactic for years, but as long as they pay I guess it's whatever.

BetUS will pay but if you hit their juicy numbers they'll cut you to 250 on everything or maybe even 50. Keep that in mind if making a big deposit for a big bonus.
