l’d like to open this up to thoughts and suggestions to anyone who has dealt with or has experience dealing with this issue.
I recently tried to cash a BTC withdrawal (less than 2k) at 5d and it was denied because I didn’t reply to the email they sent after the request. I found out they send the follow up emails after WD requests through live chat after reaching out to them after 4 days and no payment.
The reason I didn’t reply is because you guessed it, I never received it. The rep then proceeded to tell me that they sometimes have problems with @me.com emails which seems suspicious to me (I may be totally wrong about it) since I’ve never had any issues receiving emails to confirm their DBA (device authorization) protocol or deposit confirmations which come from the same @5dimes.com server. I said no problem I’ll change it, how do I do it? The rep then proceeds to tell me the extremely long and teadious procedure just to change an email.
I would greatly appreciate any advice from anyone who has experience in the best way to proceed. Should I try to WD again and see if the email goes through? Is there a better way to WD? Should I jump through all of their hoops, etc....
side note:
i have avoided 5d like the pleague but the price was too good so I finally bit. I mostly use brick and mortar shops or places I know generally make it as easy as possible to WD. BOL, BM and Heritage all no problem BTC WD’s within an hr or two, opinions on if 5d is giving me the two-step runaround are welcome too.
