Cash app account shutdown. Thoughts with withdrawal methods moving forward?
Went to send a buddy some $ through Cash App yesterday and realized my account had been closed due to "violation of terms of use etc etc". Never anything shady through Cash App, the only thing that could've triggered it is a recent withdrawal of bitcoin $3k(maybe $10k total last few weeks). Really loved cash app for the instant withdrawal.

I've been fairly diligent of spreading withdrawals through cash app, coinbase, and Bitpay to avoid this sort of thing. Maybe $40k over last few weeks/month..

Anyone have any suggestions of other withdrawal options in regards to bitcoin? I suppose my next move is maybe just using Bookmaker's wire option and withdraw more at a time and less often...

Thanks for any input in advance

Cashapp shut me down too for no reason. Localbitcoins is a great option. There are several different ways to sell your bitcoin. If you are patient selling you can make a decent profit. Only deal wth trusted buyers though.

Yeah just use blockchain app as the receiver. Then use localbitcoin, paxful, or another exchange. Localbitcoin is Finland based and Paxful is US based fyi.

Using non-US exchanges would be next option.

independentreserve.com is an Australian regulated one that offers US$ accounts.

0.5% exchange fee and fixed $20 fee for them to send you a wire which generally is credited overnight.

And they do not care about gambling usage.

They will want lots of ID and a selfie to open the account.

Thanks for the replies guys. I always go from bookmaker to blockchain. And then from blockchain to wherever I withdraw from. I will start doing some research with these newly presented options.

Interesting. It must have been the recent volume or amount. I've used them quite a bit but I try not to do more than 1 transfer there every two weeks. I think it also may depend on how much you have purchased from them. If you never bought btc there or held any with them and always instantly transfer in and out it may make them more suspicious.

I always transfer BTC out instantly. I think it has more to do with receiving BTC, converting to USD and transferring to your bank account. We will probably never know for sure.

I think I've purchased $10k or so BTC over the last 6 months through cash app. However none recently. And similar to PD77, I always transferred out instantly going either way.. Sent to another wallet or cash out instant. I never held BTC with cash app

Based on what I’ve read over the past several months, cash app for btc is a gamble (no pun intended:-)

Some users get shut down while others swear by it..
