Bovada NPNEW Bitcoin deposit RULES

I had deposits to Bovada and BOL take over 3 hours on Thursday. Sometimes weird stuff happens.

It is disappointing that they went from 0 confirmations to 2-3, but it is what it is. Not the end of the world for me. Just make sure your fee is sufficient to push it through quickly.

Today my BTC deposit to Bovada was nearly instant. Maybe they went back to the old policy?

Bovada blames the bitcoin network but I say B.S.
I guess it's back to using bank cards because they are INSTANT!!! Disappointed in Bovada and the lie they told

My having to wait for 2-6 hours told me this!! Maybe I bought the bitcoin network excuse last week.....but this week? Has to be "new" policy because in the past funds were available as soon as you logged back in to Bovada.

I may be mistaken, but I assumed Ant23 wasn't told this but rather was deducing it from his own deposit experience. It's not difficult to see the correlation between transaction blockchain status and time your account is credited.

I'm seeing the same behavior with my recent deposits. If Bovada hasn't changed this policy, then something is very wrong.

DontTailMe.......thanks for verifying what I posted. It's very clear to anyone who has used Bovada in the past and currently still uses them that something HAS CHANGED!! I chalked up last week's delays to the surge of bitcoin. But this week? Hmmmmmmmmmm

Sure it is, but many people who make threads like this are just assuming as it took longer than expected. Or check after the credit is done and see more than 1 confirmation at that time, which could easily have happened since the credit was processed. And AFAIK, there is no official policy change there.

Really though, it would not surprise me if they do eventually change to at least 1 confirmation. Too many threads like this pointing out the 0 confirmation crediting just attracts the sort of bettors that make it a liability for the book to continue with.

Okay, so I paid closer attention tonight, and my account was credited after 1 confirmation. So it's better than the 2-3 that was discussed earlier, but not as good as the 0 confirmations Bovada used to require.

Plan accordingly.
