    Warning - betdsi
Just a quick update. I've posted elsewhere how DSI removed 10k from my account for no reason. I've spent the last year trying to get it back. Just received this email from them.

I am advised that it has been determined by Senior Management that the funds will not be returned to your account.
This is a theft of funds from my account. I have been a customer there for 20 years (no misprint!). Somehow they still have a C- rating on this site. They use to be a reputable book up until a year or two when things dramatically changed there. I warn all not to send funds there...and if you have funds there, remove at once!!

Is there an SBR case for this? What is the reason they are giving you?

      I feel your pain mr.ed.

But please do not start new threads about this. Bump the ones where the reason is already explained.

I had 6k in my account. Been a customer there for 20 years. Last year, I re-upped by sending and additional 5k as wanted to bet big on British Open golf. Instead of deposit going to my regular balance to make 11k, they put my 5k into a "bonus" account. So I had 6k in my regular account and 5k in my bonus account. So I began wagering with the 5k I deposited in this bonus account. Several months later during football season my bonus account had a total of 10k as I had won 5k. At this time I started to hear negative things about DSI so I requested a transfer of funds from my bonus account to my regular account, so I should have had a total of 16k (6k which I had originally and 10k transfer). They made the transfer and everything was cool, but then the next day my 10k in funds were removed without explanation.

Thanks to SBR I was able to withdrawal my 6k in my regular account which was untouched the entire time as I had been wagering out of my bonus account. But the 10k in the "bonus" account dissappeared. I asked what was going on and they they resorted to all kinds of wild and groundless accusations...such as I'm using a proxy, and a VPN, and some other things I don't recall. All made-up total nonsense. I have since written time and time again over the last year requesting that somebody look it over with the hopes that there is at least one fair-minded individual in management who would correct this wrong. Apparently there is not, as I received word today that management has decided not to pay me these funds.

Did they ever offer an explanation that included saying the 5k was supposed to be treated like bonus funds for any reason?

wut?? why would you accept 5k real money deposit to be credit as a 5k bonus? Can you give me 5k bitcoin transfer and I send you 5k monopoly money?

Yeah, something's weird about this. I suppose it's possible that he just didn't realize going on, but it's hard to believe someone who's been betting for 20 years wouldn't question that. Especially when you look and see that your previous $6K of real money is being treated differently. That would make me worried instantly...not worried $5K in profit later.

Has SBR asked DSI about this case at all?

Betdsi had been an extermly reputable book so when I sent in a deposit and it was credited to a bonus account I figured that when I met rollover requirements the funds would get transfered to my regular account. I had heard that DSi was making a big deal out of the their new bonus promotions and figured this was how it would go down. I played very sparingly there over the next couple of months...perhaps a play here and there but visited not more than once a month. I noticed two balances on the rare occasions I did log in, and just made a note to myself that one day I needed to figure out how their bonus system worked. Again, I can't stress enough that DSI was a ROCK in the industry at that time. I even had the same ID and password for those entire 20 years. It felt like a bank. So my crime is that I wasn't more attentive in the beginning when they made the bookeeping error and credited my deposit to the wrong place. According to the law of DSI, my penalty for this crime of not noticing their bookeeping blunder is loss of deposit and all subsequent winnings. Pretty harsh IMHO.

I filled out a complaint form on two occasions with SBR and they helped me withdrawal the 6k in my regular account which remained untouched the entire time as when I wagered at DSI it was from the funds I deposited. So thanks SBR! The only response I got from DSi was on one occasion when they threw all kind of haymakers at me, accusing me of being a proxy, using a VPN, and there was a 3rd thing as well but I can't remember. All made up and totally groundless.

Yeah, they have turned into a book that can do no wrong, everything is the player's fault. This characteristic probably points to the fact that they have now become a book that is probably run by...well, I don't want to say the exact term, let's just say it rhymes with barfia.

                      Complaint with DSI - RESOLVED

I've posted frequently over the last year or so about a problem I had with DSI regarding the disappearance of funds from my account. I'm pleased to report today that, thanks to Opti and Brad of SBR, the matter is now resolved to the satisfaction of all parties. A big thanks to SBR for facilitating this resolution!

                        Great news Mr Ed.

Shame it took so long to work out but was glad to hear BetDSI went the extra mile to get to the bottom it finally.

I really do not have to shill for them.

This was a genuine error and it took a DSI staff member caring enough to spend hours digging to confirm it and work out what happened.

Opti why the thin skinned responses I've seen from you lately? Doesn't look right for you to be so sensitive considering the fact that 99.9% of players who have been robbed by a book are completely 100% not at fault. Therefore they ALL should be pizzed

                                  What was thin skinned there?

Saying I really don't have to shill for them? Anyone who knows the history of SBR and DSI would smile at his comment, like I did

And Bigblue said they deserved no credit, did you not like the way I explained why I thought they did in this case?

Rather than being butthurt, I was glad to have the opportunity to give the rep there a bit of extra kudos there. "Shill" a little bit for them if you like...

No book deserves credit for paying, whether there's a mishap or not. Betdsi was an incredibly reputable book before they left Cris umbrella now they have had more complaints in the last 2 years than the previous 10 combined. But yes kudos to paying a player when you miscredited the account to begin with, great job

yes, never had a single problem with payouts from them. Most problems on here seem to be bonus related (and I don't take those)

yeah, I think for anyone who values a bookie with quite a big variety of bets/sports, decent limits and reasonable payout times, Betdsi is a good choice.

If anyone is looking for a bonus or knowledgeable support, it's not

Hmmmm......i won 250 with a no deposit bonus and they paid btc pretty easily. Send documents. Confirmed. All in 2 days. The question with all books is will they pay when you win thousands. But I was a bit surprised with all the talk and that it was a no deposit
