Sportsbetting.ag cancelling and un-cancelling live MLB wager
    Hello,

First let me introduce myself, I am Hendrikus from Germany and I love american sports (mostly NBA and MLB).

I have a problem with Sportsbetting.ag which is a sister site of Betlonline.ag
Virtually same company since an email I sent to a sportsbetting.ag address was answered from a betonline.ag address.

This is what happened: I was betting live on the MLB game NY Yankees-Boston Red Sox on Saturday 7th September.
Placed 2 wagers of $1000 each on Yankees -4,5 run line at odds of +130 when score was 4-0 half way through the game. But about 45 mins later I suddenly saw my balance getting $2000 higher (went from $1595 to $3595) and then I checked my betting history and saw the 2 bets were cancelled. This was the case both in their live betting platform and in their normal sportsbook section.
Okay, it happens. I know they very randomly cancel bets sometimes when their system has an outage so this must have been the case here. So I placed the same bets again, this time with Betcris because they offered a slightly better line at this point than Sportsbetting.ag
Then, when the game finished (5-1 score) I suddenly saw my balance getting lowered on Sportsbetting.ag again from $3595 to $1595 and suddenly the 2 wagers were un-cancelled again and standing as valid losers!

Because I have a program on my PC which automatically records everthing that happens on my screen I was able to get the screenshot of the bets getting cancelled, because now there is no trace of the cancellation to be found anymore.

So now I ended up with a double loss ($2000 on Sportsbetting.ag and my extra stakes which I placed on Betcris because I saw the wagers on Sportsbetting.ag got cancelled)!

I think this is really unfair. I have never seen a cancelled bet later being un-cancelled. Let alone after the game has finished! I have had long email and live chat sessions with their CS. At first they said "we will send a request to credit back these $2000 stakes" but then later I hear only standard replies like "sir, the game finished 5-1 and the wagers are settled correctly".

SBR can you help me please or do we find this acceptable behaviour from a sportsbook? What are your opinions?

Can you please post a screen shot of the prof you say you captured of the bets being cancelled? You should black out any identifying info. Alternatively, can you please describe in detail what this evidence entails?

i have a feeling I know what’s going on here.

We will try to help you. Please send in a sportsbook complaint form. https://www.sportsbookreview.com/sportsbook-complaint/ (but check top of page for the email in address if that form is still not working)

Betonline should be avoided for live wagering.

A few years ago I made a live wager on an MLB game at 8.5 Under. When I went to view my wagers after the game the wager was graded as a push and my bet was adjusted to 8 Under. They claimed that the line was a bad line despite the fact that the other major books were also dealing 8.5.

Lots of people like BOL for their limits, bonuses and decent lines. But based on my experience they should be avoided for live wagering.

Hopefully BOL does the right thing here, but I personally never got my money back for the bait and switch tactic that they used with me. You're lucky you have the screenshots of the cancelled bets. Otherwise you would be screwed.

Almost Anyone who has live bet with this group of books with any regularity has had something similar to this happen to them at some point. I have never had any success getting a fair resolution for unjustly cancelled live wagers. I wish you the best of luck.

Well, today they finally decided I was right and credited back the 2000 USD stakes.

Solved, but just a reminder to stand up for your rights and not just accept standard reply BS from CS!
