Hello,
First let me introduce myself, I am Hendrikus from Germany and I love american sports (mostly NBA and MLB).
I have a problem with Sportsbetting.ag which is a sister site of Betlonline.ag
Virtually same company since an email I sent to a sportsbetting.ag address was answered from a betonline.ag address.
This is what happened: I was betting live on the MLB game NY Yankees-Boston Red Sox on Saturday 7th September.
Placed 2 wagers of $1000 each on Yankees -4,5 run line at odds of +130 when score was 4-0 half way through the game. But about 45 mins later I suddenly saw my balance getting $2000 higher (went from $1595 to $3595) and then I checked my betting history and saw the 2 bets were cancelled. This was the case both in their live betting platform and in their normal sportsbook section.
Okay, it happens. I know they very randomly cancel bets sometimes when their system has an outage so this must have been the case here. So I placed the same bets again, this time with Betcris because they offered a slightly better line at this point than Sportsbetting.ag
Then, when the game finished (5-1 score) I suddenly saw my balance getting lowered on Sportsbetting.ag again from $3595 to $1595 and suddenly the 2 wagers were un-cancelled again and standing as valid losers!
Because I have a program on my PC which automatically records everthing that happens on my screen I was able to get the screenshot of the bets getting cancelled, because now there is no trace of the cancellation to be found anymore.
So now I ended up with a double loss ($2000 on Sportsbetting.ag and my extra stakes which I placed on Betcris because I saw the wagers on Sportsbetting.ag got cancelled)!
I think this is really unfair. I have never seen a cancelled bet later being un-cancelled. Let alone after the game has finished! I have had long email and live chat sessions with their CS. At first they said "we will send a request to credit back these $2000 stakes" but then later I hear only standard replies like "sir, the game finished 5-1 and the wagers are settled correctly".
SBR can you help me please or do we find this acceptable behaviour from a sportsbook? What are your opinions?
