5Dimes new limits on NFL live wagering this year?
Hey guys, last year I was able to place $1,000 live wagers on regular season NFL games.

This year I can only place live wagers of $500 on the same the types of bets.

Did 5Dimes reduce their max bets for NFL live wagering this year? Will they change it back later in the year? It appears that their regular limits for non-live NFL wagering ($5,000) are the same as before.

    Thank you.

There limits vary by account. I have no clue what the default limits are, but many people would be thrilled to have 500$ limits on nfl live wagers. If u win (or they think you are sharp) it could lower from that in no time!

Why would they lower my limits from last year though? I've hardly ever won anything from them.

Also, if my live wagering limits were reduced, would they also not have reduced my regular wagers as well? Those appear to be unchanged.

I haven't bet with 5Dimes since Tony disappeared, but prior to that they lowered my limits a few times. Each time, it seemed to affect my max bet on all categories/sports by the same percentage.

That's what I figured as well. Wouldn't make a lot of sense for them to reduce my live wagering limits but not my regular limits.

That's why I'm wondering if the decrease in NFL live wagering is universal. I would appreciate if someone could test this by trying to place a $1,000 wager during a game (but simply not confirming it so the bet doesn't go through).

I just placed a 1k wager on the game tonight. It went through with no problem.

Thank you for letting me know. It was a 1k LIVE wager?

Hard to believe my account limits were reduced! Can't believe they would do that. Haven't even won anything from them really.

5Dimes doesn't just limit you for winning. They also limit you as a form of punishment, if they feel they've caught you doing anything that they find unseemly, such as betting on a bad line or arbing.

Honestly, I've never done any arbitrage betting or taken a bad line either. I think they just got too trigger happy with their limits and my account got caught by their alog/bot or whatever. Or it was just a mistake (since my regular wagers aren't limited).

Ultra, Prime, Extra & Plus betting options are actually plugin 3rd party services.

If it is just one live betting option that has been limited, I'd be thinking it was the platform operator rather than 5dimes doing that to you.

And I do not believe 5dimes cares if you are arbing btw. Like Pinny they will normally be the sharp side of the arb and lose often enough that you are not profiting off their side.

Fair enough. I added that one in myself and don't have any direct evidence of it. But I think we all know how they feel about people who bet bad lines, unfortunately.

$250 for me too. I never knew what my limits were in the past because I never bet that high, now I'm hitting $250 limits at multiple books starting in August.

Disagree - they have many soft lines arbable vs Pinnacle.

I did not realize that. I still don't think they have a bent against arbers. Their system of a lower limit with rebetting probably deters large arbers anyway.
