Soo i made the drive out to the new sportsbook at del lago casino in NY
-- Its pretty small they have aboutt 10 betting kiosks wrapped around each other (more convenient than teller)
-- The steup is basically a bunch of decent size tv's wrapped inside a bar (i get it sports betting doesn'tt have large margins & bars do.
-- free parking
-- they have a free beverage station within the casino that has coffe and sodas
-- i went to make a max bet on a season win totl, there max bet was $900,, they offered me a max bet of $852
-- so i thought well ill just go to another kiosk and bet the same thing which worked fine and defeated the purpose of limits
-- i went to make a $500 bet with there ticket writers (crazy small area they only have 3 lines and the booth is very tiny.
-- they dont have room for alot of people in there too watch games, its not like one of the big vegas books, this doesnt really bother me thou.
-- i also overheard one of the employees saying customers were having issues parlaying sides and totals together, im sure they will fix this,, the books only been open for 3 days.
-- i made a bunch of single bets together and they all printed on the same ticket,, some of the bets were season long and some were wk 1 bets, Now if i go to cash my week 1 bets do they give me the ticket back for the rest of my bets?
all in all its a good spot untill mobile betting becomes real in new york.
