I'm wondering Where SBR gets their public betting % numbers from? VegasInsider.com and Action Network show drastically different numbers from each day. For instance today those two sites show the Astros getting 90% ish of the public moneyline bets. SBR is showing the Astros getting only 52%. Who are we to believe ?

In other words, the numbers are useless. How can you prove that those numbers are legit? Also remember this. Books can, and many times do, use those numbers to intentionally mislead the public into wagering on a certain team against their opponent. Here is a simple example of what I am talking about. 8 people in here take team A over team B for $100.00. Two people take team B over team A for $1000.00. The books will tell you that 80% if the people are on team A, but what they will NOT tell you is that 60% of the MONEY is on team B. This is an old trick. Books have been using this trick before some of you were born. It is just one way that they can control the amount of money going down on a certain team. If you pay attention to numbers like that, you are just being suckered into wagering on a team that the books want you to wager on. Another reason why so many people in here are losers.Comment -
