best way finding a local?

You are opening yourself up to be ripped off asking this.

If you don't know someone who knows the local's history personally to refer you, I'd avoid it.

Visiting your local sports bar would be better than asking online I think.

Find local poker games and you’ll find bookie also at OTB’s.....applies same if you need loan shark..the guy who runs my local poker game books through pay per head site which sucks though he pays everytime....I will also say as I’ve been playing poker at his games for 20 years more people stiff the bookie then other way...so many people just disappear never come to poker o otb anymore and reason is they get stuck deep with bookie or loan shark and just don’t come around.....too easy to get stuck w bookie better off offshore imo

locals just clone lines and are offshore sportsbooks

all automated using pay per head shops which is offshore sportsbooks odds most of the time

Michael777.....agree 100%......I had a guy that would answer on the 1st ring until I got down couple games betting $100-$200 per game......then I have had to drive to the bar just to make bet on Sunday 4:00 games.....so glad he died
