AC88 is closing 9wickets account

I received an e-mail. Unfortunately. I just opened a 9wickets account with them earlier this week.


"Please be informed that our agent line with 9wickets will be closed. In line with this, all accounts will be suspended effective on July 06, 2019 at exactly 12:00 noon HK time.

For accounts with remaining funds, you may have it transferred to other partner bookies that we have or you may also opt to withdraw it at your most convenient time in any payment method available.

We sincerely apologize if there any inconvenience caused on your end.

Yes but but the Mobil platform for horses on 9wickets so much superior then orbitx....I can not effectively use the Mobil it just takes too long and has to many steps for horse on orbitx....are all agents dropping wickets?

I never used them and never would because of the disclaimer AC88 asked me to agree to before they would open a 9wickets acct for me. It basically said 9wickets retains the right to confiscate funds at their discretion - depending on certain circumstances. No way.

SBR received a message from AC88 to say that they were splitting with 9wickets due to the article published in the UK FInancial Times this week naming AC88 as a backdoor to use Betfair.

Yes, this. To be honest, it's surprising how long AC are allowed to get with using personal Neteller/Skrill accounts to run their business. Not the only broker to do that.
To my knowledge, only Easysportbet and Sportmarket use merchant accounts.

Think you can add Betinasia to that mix as they started advertising Merchant accounts with Paysafe as well, but they shave the odds on their Molly platform which is quite unacceptable.
