not that i play there, but they have a good rep, cater to europeans, so
why would they get into bed with EOG,which is losing posters faster then the Nationals lose games, and does not have many europeans?

Maybe cause of what they think the future holds for the gaming industry in America?or just a flat out great offer given to them by EOG.

    Anyone with any ideas.

Ahhh, William Hill! I had a lovely argument with a manager about a year ago in one of their shops in Dublin City center, I'd placed a scorecast which won at odds of 20/1 (average offered by most bookies). However, the woman behind the till placed odds of 50/1 on my bet slip. I questioned it at the time and she said, 'well the odds change all the time' so I just accepted it and walked out. When trying to collect my winnings, the manager at the till stated it was void because the wrong odds were on the slip.(I only wanted it settled at 20/1) He said, I'm getting my stake about and I'm lucky to get that. I argued with him for quite a long time, the only reason I belive he gave in and paid me was because other punters in the shop at the time starting joining the arguement and siding with me.

So, I don't bet with Will Hill either in their shops or online. They haven't the greatest odds anyway. I'm going to look stupid but what is the EOG? I know I could check google but I thought I'd ask

Nowadays they accept german punters. Would be a great experience I guess

I've got an account with them since about 2 months, so far so good.
Not very active there, but I'm sure I'll get limited in the near future.

Btw, I think it's the only bookie that hasn't settled the allegedly fixed match between Meltzer and Odesnik at Wimbledon, pending investigation.

I have used WH a lot for horse racing. Sometimes their early prices are very good for that. I have probably mentioned it before, but when the football season is on they regularly offer the "Buy one get one free", which is a free £5 (often live)bet on correct score.. You have to place a £20 qualifier to receive it. Over the summer they have had this offer for cricket, tennis and golf I believe. They also send out offers like free £5 or something in their casino/games/live casino and such.

They're generally OK in terms of limits unless you bet smaller sports. I only used them occasionally for football (soccer) when they had the best odds, and despite this was never limited. Then earlier this year I started doing tennis correctscores, and now am limited to pennies :-)

how is a government regulated company allowed to do this . so basically they just have a licence to take money , not a gambling licence, it is totally absurd, but i guess the government regulators probably get a little something to look the otherway

Neither nor. It only shows they have bad linesmakers and/or a bad software to change odds fast enough according to the amount of money placed on the events.

He was not allowed to bet at pre race odds which were listed by the bookie and which he wanted - but the bookie would accept the bet if he would accept the price at which the horse was returned.

                                      That´s funny.

Victor Chandler and bet365 use nearly the same wording.
