Looking for State of the art info ON Gamblerspalace
Well this looks like a different class of D- book than Betus or Betroyal. I've done my homework boys, two good threads in the archives on these.

    1) Bigboydan, two questions for you actually if you don't mind. First, you said they got you for 7K back in March of 2006. Did you get paid? Second, you made a reference to Cecil that something happened to him at GP. Can you elaborate on that.

    2) Lakerfan, you say you were in and out with a bet and had no problems. Did you ever revisit them?

    3) Senor Dozer and the Mods, you had them at F- last year (gathered this from a post) and then somehow they got to F and then one year ago you upgraded them to a D-. Did they payout all their debts?

    This one sounds risky!

Stiffed quite a few players back in the day. The difference now is that Sportbet hosts them and there is some pull there.

I was stiffed by them a few years back for 7k. Cecil, SBR_John, Halifax, and AK did assist me with this one, and thanks to all parties I did manage to get some of my funds back.

I would not even consider playing with them at all even if your a $5-$10 bettor, because they are really a deposit type book only.

This book should NEVER be upgraded to anything above an F

To Bill Dozer: (I think I need a class in Dozespeak. I do appreciate you always getting back to me. But it seems like I'm the only one who never knows what you're talking about! I'm just thankful there are no turnkeys in this problem!)

"Hosted" by Sportbet- what does that mean? I'd look up host but I have a feeling that wouldn't help. Trying to find out the relationship here cuz Sportbet is a nice, solid B.

Also, when you say stiffed people back in the day, they're still stiffed? So is this something like a F- Stiff book can get their rating changed to a Pay book if management changes, etc to reflect that they'll probably pay NOW? Kinda weird and sounds a little unfair.

How much did you get paid back, and how long did it take, and did they have a (good) reason to not pay? Deja vu! Details, please! I like to know what kind of monster I'm dealing with.

I ended up getting the bulk of it back, although it took several months to get. I also only received $500 at a time every 2 to 3 weeks.

The Ratings are not down to a complete science. We need to give current players a good idea of how screwed they are while also factoring in the past. Looking at Royal, BetUs, SBG and even SIA, you can be sure that there are people out there who were cheated and never recovered losses. Many books were not built on integrity.

Sportbet rents space and CS to them. Financial processing is separate. We actually tried to follow up with a few victims and still are.

The last complaint I remember being filed about this family of books was a $14,000 stiff job courtesy of SimpleNetBet about a month and a half ago. I'm not sure how it turned out though.
