And now when asked for the link to the blockchain record so your problem can be checked... you answer, "No, for security reasons. And btw can you tell me how I can tell what the value was at time of send?"


You didn't even care enough to Google how to check, but felt the need to keep saying it five times.

Wow really didn’t mean to cause all this drama. I was truly just curious as to why I always seemed to come up a little short. Heritage Insider provided me some info and explanations. Here is the best explanation I think. Heritage does not charge fees and submits the full amount. I believe Insider that they are not in the business of trading bitcoin and don’t employ a trader. But I think the person in charge of payouts and deposits must be very cautious to make sure Heritage is not on the losing end of trades. Could you imagine if the payouts and deposits always resulted in Heritage losing a little? That person would be canned and it would not be good for their bottom line. I don’t blame them. That’s just what you have to do in business. Maybe I just got unlucky with my deposits and withdraws, but I would rather like a flat $5 fee for bitcoin payouts so I knew what I would end up with but again I think that would be to hard from a business perspective with the volatility of Bitcoin. This time was also the first time I didn’t recoup the shortage by simply waiting a few hours for the price to change. I ended up losing another $50 for panicking on the drop of bitcoin and sold. It is still the best way as we get paid out fast.

Heritage Insider if you are reading. We are good. As I said above I really was just wondering how it all works and you went above anything I imagined in a form of an explanation. Did not expect all of that. Hope I didn’t come off as your typical complainer.

I am good too with heritage. I never started a thread over it, it didnt bother me much. But when I saw a thread started with someone having the same exact situation as myself, i chimed in with my experience in a truthful matter.

It's never going to be exactly the same, unless Heritage just happen to be using the same reference rate as you, but you should see that what Heritage Insider said is true and it will be very close each time at that instant of time.

Okay, what I am guessing now (based on a few more withdrawals and looking back on some old withdrawals, and comparing it to btc price charts at the time) is that bookmakers seem to use the CoinMarketCap bitcoin value. Unfortunately, it's aggregate btc value is usually higher than most exchanges (rarely has it been lower, and when it was, it was not by much). For example, right now, CoinMarketCap $3501.81 while Coinbase is $3417.32 and Poloniex $3403.08.

bodog/bovada also shorts you on every single bitcoin payout. And no this is not a mistake on my end or the original posters end, you can check blockchain.info and other explorers that give you the exact time stamp and value at the time of transfer, and Bodog consistently shorts me for poker withdrawals. Like he said its either A) deliberate shorting B) Payment processor they use, has a deliberate lower payout rate

Not saying that an isolated incident is not possible but those claiming they are always shorting are full of crap. They are 2 of the very best books for payments!!! I just did a $1500 payout to a different exchange. I received 0.442013 Bitcoin. My exchange $1472.43. When I put that amount into the exchange on google it equals $1476.63. So shorted once again.

On the plus side it was processed like in 30 minutes from when I requested it. Ended up with $1478 when I sold and converted. I’m not trying to hold Bitcoin with how volitile it is

On payouts from Heritage, I have seen anywhere from between 0.08% and 0.35% short (vs. value at Blockchain.com). Never received more than expected, always a bit light. Same thing on deposits -- I lose 0.1% to 0.4%.

This seems to be the experience of the majority here. Very unlikely that a band of long-time posters is ganging up on Heritage. Much more likely Heritage or its processor takes a cut.

Ok seems like they always skim a little though not just this time. Other books such as DSI I got the full amount maybe even a little extra.

Wow I haven’t got one from them in months though. Bovada was usually good also especially on deposits. Maybe it’s just a volatility thing recently so books are being super cautious and whoever is in charge of the payouts are told to error on the side of the book more.

Heritage Insider assures me that they send the full amount and pass on no fees.

He says if any of you would like your payout reviewed please contact Heritage support directly and they would be happy to look into it.

Why would you want players thinking that a book is ripping them off on their withdrawals when it is untrue? That is all readers who don't bother to read every post would see and assume.

can you honestly say I have personally attacked anyone? in the 15 years I have been a member here? I have done nothing but posted as honestly as i can all that time. I have a mod who has personally attacked me on many occasions. I try to keep things not personal and tell the truth but having had posts deleted and delayed (and altered? not sure) in the last couple of weeks makes me question this whole operation. I have an agenda for the truth. Sbrs agenda should be for the truth too. I am now wondering who else has attempted to post the truth on sbr and been silenced. It scares me.

Until yesterday, I didn't have an issue with my BTC transactions with Heritage. They always seemed to be w/i a few bucks either way. But I was disappointed when my $3000 deposit ($2999.34 confirmed at time sent) yesterday afternoon only resulted in $2924.75 getting credited to my account, a shorting of $75. I contacted Heritage live chat and later their email CS, and was told by both that they go by the time of confirmation--not the time sent. They also claim that this has always been the case, but that seems improbable given the price consistency of previous deposits. More likely this is the result of a recent change in how they treat BTC deposits.

By no means am I saying Heritage is intentionally shorting its clients. But they are now definitely forcing BTC currency risk on depositors. So understand that when you send a BTC deposit to them, don't expect to get what you sent. Instead you will have to sweat out the confirmation process, which could be several hours in some cases, and be forced to accept the price at that time. To my knowledge, Heritage is the only A+ Book not recognizing your BTC deposit at the time you submitted it. Great book, but a poor policy. Keep this in mind when you use bitcoin with them.

I don't know of any other book that gives you your Deposit... without a confirmation? Can you name the ones that do? Only book that use to was Bovada... but I don't know if they do that anymore?

To be clear, I don't expect any Book to credit my account until after confirmation occurs (although Bovada does as you pointed out). But once confirmation occurs, I expect to get the price at the time sent, not confirmation. I think all the major Books do this, except Heritage.

Ah... I see your complaint now. I guess I'm just so use to Heritage doing that.

But I can't remember the last deposit I made like a Bookmaker or BetOnline... that was VERY LATE with the 1st confirmation. For example... let's say you were sending Bookmaker 3,000 and you missed that 15 minute rate window? Like I said... I don't remember the last deposit I made that wasn't credited (with 1st confirmation) let's just say in 3 hours? Do you think Bookmaker or BetOnline would still give you that price? I wouldn't know?

5Dimes was the last deposit I made... and it took forever because of their confirmation rules. I think it was 1 hour and 45 minutes? And they didn't give me the price quoted. If they accepted the 1st or 2nd confirmation.... would of had the deposit within 12 minutes. But... they suck at times. (They require 5-6 confirmations now... at least that's what my account stated.)

FYI, it did not get picked up by a miner for almost 3 hours.

Maybe they are using the first confirmation time now as many transfers are taking a lot longer suddenly. Just a guess.

I got screwed more than 10% on a deposit when bitcoin went from $4100 to $4900 in an hour. It did not receive a confirmation until it had reached $4900 so I was pissed af when that happened. It credited the deposit based on the $4100 yet in their rules it clearly states when confirmed.

Was on looselines, will never use them again after that BS.
