Whats the deal with this? To save time not going through blockchain/multiple confirmations etc.

It is fine other than the fact you have no control because you can't see the transaction.

I would be concerned about address being good for only 24 hours and the other book taking longer than that. I guess you would have to cancel, but its an annoyance.

BTC confirmations shouldn't take too long if you pay just a little more in transaction fees.

I have been increasing my $0.05 to about $0.50 and it's taking about 30 minutes.

In case that BTC address is fixed, constant for user, it is ok.
But I see that most of bookmakers generate new wallet address for every crypto deposit. In that case can be tricky, because they converted BTC into fiat currency at current market price.

Why wouldn’t you just keep a portion of your bankroll available to deposit into an account rather than risk a btc address expiring or something happening to the withdrawal?

some books do not allow though...heritage for example will not let you use the same address 2X or allow an address that has transaction history it has to be a new fresh BTC address...every time I have done that they cancel withdrawal with note to use fresh address

Well.... the only issue is that some books BTC links they hand out have a 24 hour expiration. So, once you generate the address... you better make sure you get it there with no hold ups in 24 hours.

5Dimes has told me several times.... that their links expire within 24 hours. I wouldn't take a chance.

But yes... like littlekona said above.... if you know places like Nitrogen... Fairlay... that send it within 8 hours or so... you could take the chance....

Far too great of a security concern once you use an address to use it again. Every wallet creates a new address after a transaction for this exact reason.

                                  Geez, listen to you lot.

he asked "can I receive 2 BTC deposits to the same blockchain address?"

It's a yes or no question.

Why the need to try and complicate everything about bitcoin guys?

If it was a book that did not allow multiple withdraws to the same address, it would not have happened. Irrelevant.

And there is no "security concerns" using an address twice for anyone not trying to hide their activities.

While previously used bitcoin and bitcoin cash addresses remain valid and can always be used to receive funds multiple times, if you use the same address each time you receive funds, it becomes easy for anyone to track your entire payment history. This method of address generation improves privacy by automatically presenting you with a new address when you’re expecting a new payment.

Sure you can, but is it smart? Absolutely not. It’s downright ignorant to do so. If you’re transactions are for multiple coins, why would you want to risk your security and privacy by using the same address multiple times. Wallets make it as easy as possible to copy and paste a new address. It’s lazy and dumb not to use it.
