How to know the exact time a tennis match started ( Raonic vs De Bakker, davis cup)?
Hello, this is my issue: i placed yesterday bets (pre-match) on 2 different bookamkers ( i was arbing with both) on tennis match Raonic vs De Bakker (Davis cup).
    - I placed bets first on bookmaker "A" (the side where bets won).
    - And then i bet on the other side (arbing) with bookmaker "B" (the side where bets lost)
This morning, when waking up, i discovered bookmaker "A" had cancelled all my bets! When contacting live chat they told me i had placed my bets a couple of minutes after the start of the match. To be 100 % honest (if what they say is true), i totally ignored it, i saw a situation where i could arb between 2 bookmakers and i did it, that' s all.
What i don't understand is : if bookmaker "A" cancelled my bets for the reason they were placed just after the start of the match, bookmaker "B" should have done the same so?! (as i placed my bets on bookmaker "B" even later than on bookmaker "A"). But bookmkaer "B", where my bets were lost, didn't cancel my bets at all.
So i need to know the exact time of the start of tennis match Raonic vs De Bakker yesterday (davis cup), compare them with the time i placed my bets, and then contact bookmakers... Supposed start time was 1 p.m (PST), but matches regularly start a little later than supposed start time, and here i need the exact time it started...Could anyone help me /send me a link where i could find this information?

Tennisexplorer , oddsportal , SBRodds, your sportsbook should have schedule time listed in betslip along with timestamp of placed bet. Good luck

Thank you for your answer, i looked at these websites but i can't find the exact information (they display supposed/estimated start time don't they? not the real one). The ideal would be a website where i could see time point by point, or at least the exact time when match started

Books use paid services to provide incident report feeds, including exact start times. Betradar is a common one.

They grade on this information. You won't be able to find a source they will accept to over rule that data.

thank you very much for the links! indeed it confirms bet should have been cancelled on both bookmakers, placed about 1 min after start of event. However as Optionnal mentionned it it seems the bookmaker "B" will have to consult Betradar first to resettle my bets void. i have good hope as it's one of the most reputable and reliable bookmakers that exist. thank you again

                No problem.

Does the book that cancelled have anything about arbitrage or sure betting in their terms?

If so, there is some chance they have determined you are arbing and have cancelled on purpose to "punish" you. Knowing you would have bet the other side too.

Something to watch out for with soft books.

Considering real exact start time of the match both bookmaker should have void my bets.
The bookmaker that cancelled my won bets is a "small" book, they may not particularly appreciate arbing, but it seems i can't blame them for cancelling my bets here, they were right.
the problem rather concerns the bookmaker that didn't void my bets and kept them settled lost for now: a top bookmaker, of the most reputable among all, perhaps the most..So i think with a reasonnable research they should admit bets should be void and resettle them...

A bit of advice...Pinnacle will not cancel your bets (I'm pretty sure it's Pinnacle). It's possible the line you took was the same as their live line which is why the arb was created in the first place. (1 or 2 points for a player will change the line enough to create an arb of 3 to 5%). This happens daily. With tennis games, always and I mean always check on flashscore if the game has started yet or not if you will continue to arb like this. Games can start an hour or 2 earlier than sheduled if the tournament goes fast. If you don't, I can assure you you'll get burned very often.

                      Oh, I understand.

I guess you can try asking them but it'll be hard to not just look like a shot taker. Make it clear you are asking as the other bet got cancelled.

Flashscore round to 5 minutes unfortunately. Can't remember if they round up/down or to nearest.

I have final pinny price move at 22:09 so that's no help. You could try getting hold of betfair's historical odds and see when they put it in-play.

It's a matter of seconds. You'd be complaining as well if they had suspended the match 30secs early and you couldn't get your bet in, even though the game hadn't started yet. Player should have checked the odds were off due to some points already having been played. It's a well known rule all bets get cancelled if they are placed after the start of the match.

Because he most likely took a live line there without realising it...and that created the arb in the first place. The arb would not have been there if 1 of the bookies was not giving a live line.
