    Bitcoin Transactions through Heritage
Hey everyone, I was hoping maybe I could get some help with this topic. First off, I really like Heritage and have nothing bad to say about their customer service or their service in general.

I am interested in bitcoin transactions and when I contacted Heritage, they explained that I am not eligible because I have not deposited any bitcoin into my account. This is true, I've used cards the entire time I have had my account. It was explained to me that they have a reserve of bitcoin for people who deposited bitcoin, and they simply can't go giving everyone bitcoin who wants it, which I also understand. Supply and demand and they have to buy more bitcoin to give it out to people.

So, I asked what if I liquidated my account and then deposited it all back with bitcoin. They said I still would not receive bitcoin withdraws. I asked how many transactions it would take for me to be eligible and they said there is no known number. All I wish is a faster and more convenient payout, AND to pay them if need be if I have to make a deposit. I'm not some big time fish making extra large wagers and my payouts aren't anything massive compared to a pro. I'm a regular guy making regular sized unit bets making regular sized withdraws to supplement my income and have fun in the process.

I really don't want to change my account, but I'm leaning towards it soon if I can't figure out a solution to this situation. This whole waiting two weeks and cashing checks routine is getting old, especially when i have an electronic banking method now widely available.

Does anyone have any similar situations or ideas?

I suggest just starting to deposit via bitcoins, and keep trying to withdraw via bitcoins til you get approval. If thats not appealing you could always play elsewhere. Nitrogen for example is a bitcoin only sportsbook. Bookmaker will allow you to withdraw bitcoins even if you didnt deposit bitcoins.

As Droopy says, just deposit by bitcoin and you will probably find your bitcoin withdraw is approved. I would be surprised if any CS operator can actually give you a definite decision on that anyway but it sounds like they were simply trying to make sure you knew they could not guarantee anything in their positon. Will be up to the payout dept and their btc holding position at the time you actually make a request.

i thought about that idea, droop and optional, and that sounds like a major pain in the ass. lol. i might take the alternative route and just head over to bookmaker soon. i really don't like having multiple books but i really like the idea of convenience and discreet banking

Heritage does not have to buy bitcoin and hold it in reserve for customers. They outsource this to a Bitcoin processor. They send/receive US $ to and from the processor and they take care of all the Bitcoin transactions.

Therefore, their being unwilling to allow you a Bitcoin withdrawal has nothing to do with their supply of Bitcoin. The reason is because they don't want to become a de facto Bitcoin exchange where people can essentially buy Bitcoin by depositing US $ via CC and then withdrawing in BTC.

that makes sense as well. whatever the case is, this sounds like something easy that they don't really want me to do without making me deposit more money, which is something i am not willing to do either. from the feedback received, it sounds like i am left to one option, really. book maker was second choice for books so i am leaning to them if i can't get thehelp i need or a concrete answer. the fact that they said we aren't sure how many deposits you would need until you're eligible really threw me off

They only say that as they cannot guarantee it for you. It's up to the payout department and even they will not give you a firm answer on what tehy guarantee or not for the future. Just what they can do with a current live withdraw request.

You really do not need to worry about a CS operator wording it that way. You'll almost for sure be able to use bitcoin out once you've used it to deposit even once.

Make sure your account is zeroed out first though. Just dropping in 100 bucks onto the current balance probably wont fly.

That's one of the many things I like about LowVig.....they will payout via check or bitcoin regardless of how you deposit. Their site says bitcoin payouts within 24 hours but its usually within an hour. Lowvig is really a solid book

Heritage is very reasonable and has exceptional CS....When time comes request it and if 'no' ask for manager and I'd say its odds on they will accommodate you

This was communicated between myself and the supervisor on duty because I couldn’t figure out the customer service girls reasoning to why I wasn’t eligible when she explained it

just did my first transaction through bitcoin. requested a payout through bitcoin. they sent over an email telling me they approved and it honestly sounds like they don't want to deal with cards anymore either. they just let me know all they ask is when i deposit, i deposit through bitcoin. they were very helpful and answered all my questions.

                          thanks for the help, guys
