Restbet.com problem resolved

I registered with Restbet.com over a year ago and have had no problems until recently when I first tried to make a withdrawal. I registered there over a year ago, and since then they've accepted my registration, I've made deposits and they accepted my deposits, they've added a bonus on live chat and said nothing, I've been in contact with them several other times about other things on live chat and they said nothing, I've placed bets and they accepted my bets, they settled my bets, everything done with no problem, until, I requested a withdrawal about a month or so ago and then they said they are confiscating all my winnings and will only refund my deposits, confiscating over £1500.

Their reason for this is that they say they don't accept UK customers, but the only terms they have referred to are on http://restbet236.com/content/#content/generalterms/ on 2.2 and 2.2.i., which 2.2 stating “It is forbidden for those residing in Czech Republic,Ukraine,Russian Federation,USA, Israel, British Virgin Islands, Philippines, and Dutch Antilles to open accounts. Those who are identified to be in these jurisdictions (temporary or other, national or using those countries IP's) will be subject to their bets being revoked at the discretion of Restbet and only their initial deposit being refunded.”

And 2.2.i stating “Restbet does not accept players for any services provided by NetEnt from the restricted territories, these being:<span times="" new="" "=""> Afghanistan, Albania, Algeria, Angola, Australia, Cambodia, Czech Republic, Ecuador, Guyana, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Kuwait, Lao, Myanmar, Namibia, Nicaragua, North Korea, Pakistan, Panama, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Sudan, Syria, Taiwan, Uganda, Yemen, Zimbabwe, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Denmark, Estonia, France, Italy, Mexico, Portugal, Romania, Spain, United States of America and The United Kingdom.”.

As is clearly shown there and as I have pointed out to them on many occasions, the first term has a list of excluded countries for any play whatsoever on their site and the UK isn't one of them, and the second term only states that the list of countries in the second term, of which one of them is the UK, it only says that those countries can't use Netent services, which I didn't, I only bet on sports and didn't use Netent services, casino games etc etc, so I've clearly pointed out to them that none of these terms backs up what they are trying to say whatsoever. Their terms don't say anything that UK customers can't bet on sports exclusively, there is no term excluding that or anything whatsoever, the only restriction in their terms at all for UK customers is that UK customers can't play on Netent services and games, which I didn't, so I haven't broken any of their terms.

Firstly with their actions they have no right to do what they've done, in that the UK and GBP currency are on the country of residence and currency lists on their registration page (and still are even as I speak), and along with that, as I described earlier, I registered with them, deposited, bet, got bets settled, got a bonus added by live chat and had many other interactions with them on live chat etc and they never once said anything about them not accepting UK customers, and this is with me having had an account there for over a year and they said nothing, it was only when I first requested a withdrawal did they come up with this crap, so this is clear scam tactics and they are just looking for any way not to pay, so that's one thing regarding their actions, and the second thing is regarding their terms and conditions, in that as I described earlier none of their terms and conditions back up one bit of what they are trying to say and I haven't broken one bit of their terms and conditions, so this is them just trying to find some pitiful way of not paying a customer, pure scam tactics, plain and simple, so they have absolutely no grounds whatsoever to confiscate my winnings, so I have submitted an SBR complaint to get my winnings added back to my account, but this is a stark warning to everybody to not use Restbet.com as they are using blatant scam tactics.

Try to contact pronetgaming.com (if they are still offering the infrastructure of Restbet), I have done that a couple of year ago and they really helped me. They basically said to Restbet: you can't do this, fix it. And Restbet quickly paid me. But this was 2014 so maybe it doesn't work like that anymore. But you can try.

Try to contact pronetgaming.com (if they are still offering the infrastructure of Restbet), I have done that a couple of year ago and they really helped me. They basically said to Restbet: you can't do this, fix it. And Restbet quickly paid me. But this was 2014 so maybe it doesn't work like that anymore. But you can try.

I would suggest to contact the payment provider @bistarn .
If you used ecopayz, write them, if neteller, write them too.

Sometimes you have the luck to be assisted by them as well. Had twice such scandals with pronet bookmakers and ecopayz gladly solved it for me.

It's look ago so don't exactly remember. But I believe it was the exact same. They voided all my bets and wanted to return only deposits because I was from a country they did not accept bets from, they said. But my country (Netherlands) was not on the excluded list.

You really need to engage your brain and read everything first and stop assuming things before you make such uninformed and incorrect comments.

As I said in my original post and as I have quoted in my original post, there is a term on their site that says "Restbet does not accept players for any services provided by NetEnt from the restricted territories, these being: ... If you read that carefully, the only restriction for UK customers is that they can't play on Netent games, which if you don't know, Netent is a casino games provider, and has nothing to do with sports betting, and I only bet on sports at Restbet and didn't touch any Netent casino games so didn't break any of their terms.

And don't presume things that you have no idea about. Restbet said that there has been a "misunderstanding" and that they have accepted that the only restriction on UK customers is that they can't bet on Netent casino games and that UK customers can bet on sports, so my account isn't "irrevocably closed" at all, it is open and if I wanted to, I could continue betting on sports at Restbet. I won't be doing that however as they have tried this stunt once so they may well try it again and I won't be sticking around with them to find out.

Because that's what scam tactics are, confiscate funds, try to make them think that they are wrong and hope that they don't take it any further, and only pay the people that create such bad publicity that it isn't worth it for them. So the word "scam" is very apt for this situation with the scam tactics that were used.
