You're going to get like 25 different answers, and all of them will be valid because one's perception of these books is almost entirely dependent on:
(a) What your personal criteria are, and
(b) if you've had a bad experience with any of them (all offshore books are capable of providing a bad experience every now and then, so luck plays a major role here)
They're all fine books.

I have accounts at all five, and would suggest that you do the same. For a variety of reasons, it is to the player's advantage to have as many "outs" as possible.

Exactly! Don't put all of your eggs in one basket.

Bovada and Bookmaker ALWAYS pay quick and without issue. Getting that extra half-point on dogs is great with Bovada. 5 Dimes compromised my debit cards on two separate occasions. All the recent stuff with Betonline would make me very nervous if I had an account there.

Bookmaker just cancelled my Bitcoin withdrawal because I can't upload images of an old credit card. Pretty stupid considering I've been withdrawing and depositing in Bitcoin there the last several months. I even asked what if it was a 10 year old card that no longer exists and they said it still needs to be verified.

Asking to verifiy a card you used this year is not unreasonable. It's normal stuff. Just do the verification. And you can email the image if you can't work out how to upload it.

I agree with Opti here. You should at least keep a picture of it. Doesn't even matter which payment method it was. CC, prepaid voucher, Ewallet. You have to have a proof of payment, and bookies have a right to ask for it. In some countries they are even obliged to ask for it in accordance to the guidelines of the licensor, otherwise they run the risk of high penalties, see UK.

I have not used the card in over a year. It's expired and I got rid of it. I've only deposited and withdrawn via Bitcoin the last several months. Not sure why this is an issue all of a sudden and now how do I get my money out?

Pretty sure this won't happen if your account is crypto-only. You can take $100,000s from them in crypto with no verification if you stick to crypto from the start.

I played at betonline for years and always had good luck with them til recently. Bookmaker the same, always good. Bovada has the softest lines and I prefer their live betting software and wide variety of markets live, so they are my go to for live betting.

I use bol on occasion mostly for 50cent pick 4s in horses or poker...the sports side i think sucks esp the platform..so many circled games that dont allow parlays plus cant parlay certain game spreads....i think heritage blows them away plus all my other books i use are not on list and all much better then others listed

Unfortunately I didn't start with crypto 8 years ago when I began using Bookmaker. I wish I had Bitcoin from 8 years ago!
