    SPORTSBETTING.COM - terrible
I use them because of easy deposit method.
Have wagered up to there $5,000 max limit many times.

Today, 6/17/09, I go to place a $100 wager and it tells me that the max wager is $5.00

    WHAT?

    Obviously a mistake.
Not the first time this has happened.
But the limit has usually been set at around $1,100 in the morning and changed to $5,000 after 11:00am central time. I contact their CRAPPY CUSTOMER SERVICE. And all they can say is that the wager limits are set by the lines maker.

I have to assume your a winning player, sounds like you were limited and that's what they do to force you out. It is a bit shocking when it first happens. I didn notice they allowed me to bet normal limits on other sports than the one your crush them in.

I think you are correct. I contacted them again today with the same response. Started this baseball season with a deposit of about $3,700 and accout up to around $40,000. I asked them if it was only my account and they said yes, but could not give a reason for the $5.00 limit. I'll start collecting I guess.

Am I OK to withdraw $9,500 at one time via bank wire? Their site states that the bank wire will show up as coming from SPORTSBETTING.COM. Will this through up a red flag for the bank or IRS?

they use an intermediery bank wires will be fine. Anything under 10K is not "flagged" I would put one in wait to get it put another one in etc.

don't bother speaking to customer service. Waste of your time you have been limited...

Income is income. If the wire is .32 or $300k you owe taxes to the IRS on profits.

No income isn't income. Income on a W-2 is much different then money won online. Although the law states you have to b=pay income tax but NOT INCOME IS THE SAME.

You owe taxes on all gambling income.

                Is that better?

I doubt it's an issue for you.

That's a little suprising that the wire will say sportsbetting.com??? Some banks seem to be tightening a bit on these issues, especially with the recent poker funds seizure. Friend of mine just received check from them within 5 business days. You may want to hit both once per month, max check and a wire. My bank just jacked international wire fees quite a bit.. I've had much more success with the live chat than the foreigners who answer the phone. Quite impressive gain on the baseball- bankroll. I see no reason to let any one sportsbook account get over say 10K, nevermind 40... especially a low rated book- although sportsbetting does pay and you should be fine.
