Heritage deposit issue (user requested closure)
Edit by SBR: We spoke with Heritage. To clarify, we understand you sent XRP to a bitcoin address, rather than the system generated XRP address. It'd be akin to sending cash to a wrong address via post. You will be refunded in approximately 20 business days (minus processing fee).

Hey guys be careful when deposit via an alt coin into heritage. I sent around $700 last week and it shows transaction completed via Id number and addresses are correct and they see that but if they check there address they don’t see saying. I always deposit via bit but it was down at the time on there page. Now I have to wait 2-6 weeks for them to either be able to pick it up or refund the money. So much for quick transactions this time. No super bowl betting I guess

Which alt coin did you deposit with? We can ask Heritage to take a look. Email your account ID to mail@sportsbookreview.com.

Sent to sbr for review. Heritage wont do a thing about it even though I’ve been with them for years.

if this was Saturday they where having processor issues all day with BTC...I got one deposit in Q heritage which took way longer then normal for them to credit as Usually it is after 1 confirmation....Then I tried again to deposit and BTC was off line all afternoon as an option... I tried my looselines account too and that was no btc processor available too...Then tried betonline and one worked and then on and off line there processor the rest of day... SO if that was last Saturday many issues at variety of books with crypto processing that day

I get that but 2-6 weeks before an answer is crazy. What is the alt coin goes to 0 before then. Then I’m out because of processor errors?

I’d contact them again plus see if heritage insider can help....this is totally out of norm from them as they are IMO the best customer service and management....I would also mention you heard others had issues with btc deposits Saturday though I do think it was a processor that handles many books that caused this

AbeHonest had this problem too with a different book. But sent BitcoinCash to a Bitcoin address.

It took a couple of weeks until the processor could get it reversed too.

Must be something time sensitive about the process.

That is incorrect. Bitcoin was down at the time at heritage (that’s how I always deposit), so I asked and requested a xrp address and I copied the address and sent it. If I sent xrp to a bitcoin address it’s because there processor gave me a bitcoin address. The error is not on my end as bitcoin deposits were unavailable at the time so no way I could get a bitcoin address on my own.

We spoke with senior mgt. The system would not generate a Ripple address if BTC was unavailable. It is not possible. But, in good faith, you will receive an advance on the refund with an expectation that you redeposit when your initial transaction is returned (to cover the house advance). Customer service will be in touch.

Weird scenario all around because only reason I deposited via ripple was because it said bitcoin unavailable as I never deposited in any other way besides bitcoin before this. I appreciate all the help though and consider this matter solved completely if that’s the case. At least I can bet the super bowl! You guys can delete thread or close it if possible.
