    Tennis and Bodog question?? Shari?

Any of you betting tennis at Bodog? Says, "anyone retires the bet is no action"

Do they mean at any point in the match? Lots of people way behind late in a match pack it in and claim they are hurt. This type of thing is "no actioned" by Bodog?

Seems most books say if the first set is completed its a good wager.

Tennis players--any other major books out there with strange or quirky rules related to matches being graded or not?

    Thanks in advance

    Hi katstale,

Bodog rules on tennis wagering state: "Tennis head-to-head matches will be settled as "No Action" if either player retires before the match is completed."

Some books say one or two sets must be in the books. Others, like Bodog, void if there's a retirement no matter how much time has elapsed. It will work for you as much as it will work against you.

    Lou,

appreciate your insight on this. You have the stat on how many matches actually end in "retirement"? That has a little something to do with whether i consider them a tennis out.

Most books have rules voiding bets if a player retires at a certain point, but it varies from book to book whether one set must be played, two sets, or the full match.
