That's not the point - whether Bitcoin Cash is good or not. The point is, when Bitcoin Cash forked off of Bitcoin, all of us who had Bitcoin at Nitrogen should have been given some Bitcoin Cash. But Nitrogen didn't give it to us. They kept it themselves. This amounted to a heist of hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Yes, we've been over that carefully worded statement from almost two years ago.

                  It is B.S.

They received Bitcoin Cash for all of our Bitcoin that they held. That is a fact. Just because they haven't implemented Bitcoin Cash doesn't change that. That is just their way of dodging from having to pay us off.

Some say, maybe they were not holding all of our Bitcoin in Bitcoin, and so they didn't get enough Bitcoin Cash from the fork to pay us off like they ethically should have.

They also didn't do a very good job of notifying us that we needed to pull out our Bitcoin if we wanted to be sure to get our Bitcoin Cash. That's because they sure didn't want all of their customers to pull out their Bitcoin. Because they didn't have enough Bitcoin to cover massive withdrawals.

I don't think the folks at Nitrogen are crooks. I just think they got caught in a bad situation at the time of the fork.

Fairlay will support any Bitcoin hardfork if the following conditions are met:- the exchanges Poloniex, Bitfinex, Kraken and Bitstamp must have credited the new coin to all users who held unused Bitcoin on the exchange at the time of the fork
                    - there may not be any severe security incident with any wallet software recommended on the official site of the fork.
                    - the new coin must be listed for spot trading on at least 2 of the 4 exchanges mentioned above and have a market cap of more than 500000 Bitcoin

Fairlay will do these checks 6, 12 and 18 months after each fork and credit funds if the conditions are met. Fairlay might also support forks if not all of the conditions are met. Please ask us at least 48 hours before the fork. We recommend to withdraw all your funds prior to any Bitcoin fork.

nitrogen did not say 100% they would pay bitcoin cash....I’m on there a lot for years and did not expect and feel they are within rights to keep....remember they are a bookie not some sort of bank or financial institution....on the other hand Fairlay did pay and has a clear policy see:

If you wanted bitcoin cash then you should withdrawn your balance to a wallet or exchange; sure Nitro made thousands if not millions, from that fork, but they're a bitcoin book...

As I pointed out, they purposefully did not do a good job of letting folks know that they had to pull it out, because they obviously did not want people to pull out their Bitcoin. Would you want to give back all the Bitcoin you were holding in a sportsbook?!

Anyway, it's not such a big deal now with Bitcoin Cash down to $134, but at one time it was $3,000!

If Nitrogen wanted to make any future legal problems go away, they should pay off everyone now while Bitcoin Cash is cheap. If they have kept some of their Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash in dollars or Euros, then they have made out very well.

                              Rubbish.

They emailed everyone, had a blog post about it and it was widely discussed here and other sites.

That's just completely made up that "they purposefully did not do a good job of letting folks know".

Rubbish. They did not email everyone and they admitted so. I have a Support ticket from them explaining that they did not email everyone.

Yes, there was a post on their Blog, but I don't go there, and yes there was a banner on their site as I said. I just didn't visit the site when it was up.

I've worked in PR and if you really wanted to make sure everyone knew, you would email them rather than depend on them visiting the site or the Blog. Just sayin.'

                                  Hello 19312,

Users were informed about this via our blog as well as a sitewide message that was posted a week prior to the August fork.

                                  We would like to remind you that all information regarding Nitrogen's position has been posted and will be posted on our blog;

There have been many BTC forks and air drops. No book has credited all the airdrops. It shouldn't be expected as a player can easily withdraw for the snapshot.

These are books not exchanges. I wouldn't expect anything from them. Bitcoin is just a payment system with them. Who knows if they even keep the players funds in bitcoin. Probably not.

If Nitrogen doesn't maintain funds in BTC only, no one should even think of using them. If BTC suddenly runs up 400%, they're insolvent and taking everyone's money. Conversely, if a fiat book is keeping a decent pct of player deposits in BTC, it runs the risk of BTC crashing.

Fairlay, despite all of its many (and growing) faults, at least provides an address where you can see all of its customer deposits.

By your logic, books that accept BTC deposits owe me BCH, even if they hold my balance in $ They put out a notice on most platforms; you probably didn't get the email cause you'd deactivated that function in your account.
