Is it possible for a bookie to make a wager disappear?
So I made a bet (at least I thought I did) at a relatively reputable bookmaker, went onto vacation for 2 weeks and came back to see that the bet (winning obv) supposedly never even existed. So clearly there are 2 options here: I forgot to confirm (which is possible) or the bookie saw the orphaned bet and decided it would be a good idea to take that money by deleting it out of the system. This is the 2nd time this happened to me on an offshore site while I never had any such issues on any Eurobookie despites making a lot more bets there.

I can see in the browser history I was in the site trying to make the bet but obv nothing more.

It is possible but so tough to prove.

Plus books hear this, about bets being altered or deleted, constantly when it's usually the player who has made the error, so they automatically assume you made a mistake and arent very helpful when it comes up.

Was it a lot of money?

Can you look into your account history and see if the balance changed over the period?

You are welcome to submit an SBR sportsbook complaint form but chances are without any sort of supporting evidence the dispute agent wont be able to do anything much :\

no unfortunately not, It was roughly 1200$ that I would have won. I somewhat doubt that complaining will help. Either they cancelled on purpose in which case I have no chance to prove it, or I missed to confirm somehow, in that case they obv cannot pay. I m going to take a foto of all my important bigger bets in the future.
        thx for the offer nonetheless.
