I am now trying to withdraw from Bookmaker. They offered several ways: Bitcoin, debit card, checks, and person to person money transfer.

Which one do you guys recommend? Bitcoin seems very popular. But I know nothing about it. Is it safe?

Bitcoin easily the best for bigger amounts in USA. If your withdrawal is smaller, P2P may suffice.

Thanks for the reply. I am considering Bitcoin. Is bitcoin safe? Easy to be stollen? Will the daily wide range of bitcoin price cause risk? And which website do you recomment to buy and sell bitcorn?

      Thanks

Since the bitcoin price changes wildly every day, how can I lock the value of my bitcoin before I convert bitcoin to US dollar?

Bitcoin is safe but can fluctuate significantly. The only time I "withdraw" by bitcoin is when I need to also deposit at another Book, thereby minimizing the time I'm in bitcoin. It's more of a transfer method I use. When I want to withdraw for personal use, I prefer a check.

If you are withdrawing, you really should not hold on to the bitcoins long enough for price fluctuation to matter. Just transfer to your bank minutes after they hit coinbase or whatever you use. Fluctuation is more relevant for deposits, where coins may take days to hit.

I stopped using coinbase, so I'm only dealing with blockchain now. I don't think you can transfer from blockchain to your bank directly.

You can order a BitPay card and transfer from blockchain.info to there and be able to withdraw at any ATM or use it to buy things immediately.

Costs about 10 bucks and fees/exchange rate are very good.

You probably don't want to send bitcoin. You can lose quite a bit that way. I would take a check unless you have to pay the fee (cannot offset it with points redeemed) in which case bitcoin might be worth doing.
