I had a delay in a transaction. But it's just ACH on my end. No login problems.

Thanks for the response, brother. I get invalid username or password. I click "forgot password". Site says : "An email has been sent to you to change your password". No email arrives. Something wrong. Pretty screwed without an exchange. Can't seem to get verified on Gemini or ItBit. S- - T HAPPENS.

They are not showing any issues like that on their status page https://status.coinbase.com/

If you are using an ISP email account (as opposed to gmail etc) you may be able to phone them and ask if they can see if any coinbase emails have been rejected for your account and if so get that spam block removed for you.

Is this the same problem you are having at Gemini and ItBit getting verified too btw?

          Hey Opti, thanks for responding.

This is what I get when I try to log in to Coinbase.

"Invalid email or password. Try clicking 'Forgot Password' if you're having trouble signing in."

My username and password are in my "windows" memory...I know they're correct.

This is what shows when I goto the "help" section.

Partially Degraded Service: Our team has identified an issue with recent ACH deposits and purchases not paying out at the expected time. This includes purchases of supported cryptocurrencies as well as USD deposits. We're currently working towards a resolution, and hope to have an update soon.

I do have an ISP (XFinity email). I've tried to change my password at Coinbase (figured why not give that a try), but like I mentioned, I receive no email from coinbase with "change password instructions".

I sent itbit an email asking for help getting verified. They said "try again using a different username". I tried that and quickly struck out a second time (lol)

They said if I fail a second time then there's nothing else they can do.

Fail I did: Your onboarding could not be completed at the moment.

Unfortunately, we are unable to accept your account application. Thank you for your interest in itBit. For further assistance please contact help@itbit.com.

Gemini returned an email stating "we're having trouble getting you verified." I responded by telling them I have a scanner and utility bills, tax forms, snap shots of bank deposits, ect. I gave them the name of my bank. (It wasn't on their drop down list). I told them I was a member of Coinbase but that site is (for me) no longer working. My bank is actually a Credit Union, but it has worked fine at Coin Base prior to the sites demise (for me at least).

I'm currently waiting for Gemini to hopefully respond to me a second time with some good news, but confidence is not high (lol).

I still have Kraken, but I can't get money to and from my bank (credit union) the way I used to with Coinbase and the now defunct Circle (boy was that place easy!)

I'm unfamiliar with the method of wire, but I think that might be my last option of getting money to an exchange (Kraken) to continue my transactions in Bitcoin.

Might have to resort to the old "check withdrawal" method in the future. (which for me wasn't that bad)

My credit union accepted foreign checks, but of course there was the 5 week waiting period.

No big deal for me until I recently heard of checks "bouncing", albeit the fault of the "processor" and not the book.

I've stuck with SBR's "big 3" books. (5Ds-Heritage-Bookmaker). As I remember 5Ds would honor a free withdrawal via bank check on Mondays from (I think) 9am-12pm Eastern time.

Would you happen to know if Heritage and Bookmaker follow that protocol? Can easily find that out, brother, if you can't recall.

Thanks (as usual) for the help, brother!

That's weird about ItBit. Maybe try again with a different email address and username again?

Any chance it's actually your state they are rejecting and just failing to mention it?

Wires really are pretty similar to send and receive as ACH, and are actually faster usually. They just have a fee of 15-20 bucks where ACH is free for the end user. With my online bank I can just send them online like any other money transfer and nothing tricky after you have done it once and see what info goes where in the form.

I should know about Heritage and Bookmaker payout offers but just am not 100% sure without checking if they do have a monthly free payout for checks. Pretty sure Heritage does but both have no fees for Bitcoin.

One other tip people have been sharing. If you still have a Circle account and know your old bitcoin wallet addresses, then you can still send Bitcoin to those old addresses and cash it out to your bank with them.

Edit: and as far as check issues. Personally I can't see a good reason to use them but the problems right now are due to a payment processor losing a bank account. All issued unpresented checks go void and it could be many hundreds of them. It doesn't happen so often that it is a big problem but it has happened before and books know how to deal with it and get everyone repaid. It just takes time to reconcile what checks are affected. Anyway, basically what I am trying to say is it isn't a red flag and just part of dealing with offshore books. A pain in the ass but just the way it is. Still, bitcoin solves the problem and makes life easier for the book too.

Opti...know you got your hands full but.....

Do you know Coinbases's tele #? I can't find it anywhere.

They probably don't want it "bandied about"; but if you, or any members, know it, and ya wanna PM me, that would be a good thing.

                Thanks brothers!

No phone number. The contact or help tab takes you nowhere. Outrageous fees. I had purchased some bitcoin through my bank account and it took about 12 days I guess because of this degraded service stuff. Status said "arrives today" for 4 days. Sent all my coins out of that place and hope to never use them again.

Finally got my wits back and made a new email address. Clicked "forgot password" at Coinbase site. They sent an email to the new email address and said "clink on this link." I did that.

Then it went to the "Unknown Device" routine. They sent another email saying "verify this device." I clicked that. I thought for sure they were then gonna say "An account for this person already exists", but they didn't. Reconnected with the exchange! I was sweating it out cause I had (what for me was) a lotta money in there and was starting to give up hope.

Can't break through with Gemini or itbit. But all of a sudden, that's not to big a problem.

Thanks a lot for your help, fellas. This is a really knowledgeable part of SBR, and I appreciate it.
