I use Bitpay for absolutely everything. In fact, I'm THIS close to going bankless.

As to delays to load: after you build up some trust w/ Bitpay over multiple withdrawals, and don't try and use their 15 minute grace window to game them vs BTC's market movement, they'll eventually put you on their unofficial "trusted clients" list. When that happens, they don't even wait for a single confirmation before allowing you access to your money.

My money becomes available on my card literally about 30 seconds after Bitpay receives the broadcast that BTC's on its way.

          Hello fellas,

When you guys withdraw from sportsbook and send to Bitpay Wallet, do you goto the Blockchain Wallet first: as a precaution?

Sportsbook > blockchain wallet > Bitpay wallet

          OR

          Sportsbook > Bitpay wallet

I'm wondering if Bitpay is leery of bitcoin coming to their wallet right from a sportsbook.

I got on board with the Bitpay method, and don't wanna jeopardize getting shut off.

          Thanks fellas.

I wouldn't risk it. I always use a middleman wallet. It's an American bank so almost guaranteed they don't allow gambling transactions. It's not worth risking getting banned.

Another advantage of using a middle man wallet is that you are personally a party to each transaction so dont have to go to two other companies to sort out any problems.

In the case of BitPay it's important to send the exact amount too. Not always possible to be sure what a book is going to send exactly.
