The score at halftime is a tie 10-10 so my ticket is a win and sportsbet customer service told me I lay -0.5 on houston. They free rolled me!

It looks likes that should be a winner from the ticket.

I'd try sending an email asking for a manager to re-check the grading first but you can fill in a Sportsbook Complaint form and SBR can reach out to them about for you.

What did you mean about taking it @ halftime in the first post though?

Live bet handicaps often apply from the time you place them, so Houston would have needed to win the half +0.5 from that point on... if that is how it works at Sportsbet.io

I've checked their rules and cant see any reference to this specific bet though and with no football on I cant see how they describe it on the listing.

It appears you placed it 21 mins into the game, when the score was 3-0 to Houston?

Anyway, that 'could' be one explanation for the grading, and the CS operator just gave you the wrong reason.

Your SBR complaint agent should be able to get it sorted for you though.

I was just thinking the same thing... perhaps he placed the bet when houston was ahead thus taking -.5 rather than +.5 .... this bet has to be a live inplay wager as oakland was -7 full game so +.5 1st half on houston pregame would make no sense..... maybe the book graded this correctly afterall.

I'm thinking the slip would say -0.5 if it was that. So 0.5 means + as the OP says he bet.

I'm also thinking the slip would also normally show the current score at the time the bet was struck if it was a handicap from that point on.

But also thinking... +0.5 -115 sounds about the right price for a remainder of the half bet with Houston up by 3 around quarter time?

One thing for sure. Sportsbet.io sports rules are a bit brief and dont cover it.

If I'm laying the point shouldn't it be -0.5 rather than 0.5 , sportsbet.io should make it clear between laying the point and taking the point.
