Block Chain confirmation priority what really determines it? Its all over the place for me sometimes...Today I did 57$ send with .15 Fee and it put me in medium 6 blocks...yesterday did 225$ for .04 fee and Top priority 1 block...why is this as I thought fee determined????

I don't get it either. I made a $200 transaction it took 2 minutes to clear. Then I transfered $5 and it took over an hour.Comment -

You need to look at the size of the transaction in bytes, not monetary value. Seems now you need to have a fee of >30 sat/byte to get priority. Anything below 10 sat/byte and it will take forever.... Possibly not confirm at all.Comment
