I have had this problem with several US books. I use a web proxy service to access them.

The best I have found is https://aniscartujo.com/webproxy/index.aspx

Using this I can access the books I have access problems with.

Hi, having the same problem for couple of weeks. Trying to access from the Czech Republic, different networks and no response at all. Same problem with stanjames.com.
On downforeveryoneorjustme.com it says that both websites are down but I quess that part of the checking script is dynamic and the bookies block some countries. Never seen it before.
